"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi pemanfaatan gas suar bakar melalui pressurized LNG baik secara teknis maupun ekonomi untuk gas suar bakar pada Lapangan Gas Cemara Barat. Pressurized LNG merupakan metode untuk mencairkan gas pada tekanan yang tinggi, sehingga suhu pencairan gas tersebut akan lebih tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan kondisi tekanan dan temperatur mengakibatkan teknik pencairan gas yang berbeda, dimana PLNG memiliki jumlah peralatan dan konsumsi energi yang lebih sedikit dibandingkan dengan LNG mini. Gas cair yang dihasilkan oleh kedua metode berbeda dimana LNG mini dengan mass flow 21,51 ton/hari dengan heating value 1065 BTUSCF sedangkan PLNG dengan mass flow 20,23 ton/hari dengan heating value 1050 BTUSCF. Secara ekonomi PLNG lebih menguntungkan dan tidak beresiko dengan nilai IRR yang lebih tinggi dari LNG mini sebesar 19,20% dengan PBP yang lebih kecil 5,6 tahun.

This study aims to know the potential of pressurized LNG in flared gas utilization both technically and economically for flared gas in Cemara Barat Gas Field. Pressurized LNG is a method to liquefy gas at high pressure, so that the liquefaction temperature of the gas will be higher.

The results showed that differences in pressure and temperature conditions resulting in different gas liquefaction technique, where the PLNG has a less number of equipmet and energy consumption than LNG mini. Liquefied gases produced by the two methods has some difference where LNG mini produced liquefied gas that has a mass flow of 22.09 tonnes/day with a heating value of 1065 BTUSCF, while PLNG produced liquefied gas that has a mass flow of 20,77 ton/day with a heating value of 1050 BTUSCF. Economically PLNG is more profitable and has a lower risk than LNG mini with hinger value of IRR at 19,20% and a smaller PBP at 5,6 years."
