"Penelitian ini membahas konflik Aceh dalam cerpen “Jaring-Jaring Merah”, “Dua Tengkorak Kepala”, dan “Safrida Askariyah”. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan situasi konflik Aceh semasa pemberontakan GAM yang digambarkan dalam ketiga cerpen tersebut, serta mengungkapkan perbedaan yang menegaskan sikap dan ideologi para pengarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif komparatif, sedangkan sumber data penelitian yang digunakan adalah teks cerpen “Jaring-Jaring Merah” karya Helvy Tiana Rosa, cerpen “Dua Tengkorak Kepala” karya Motinggo Busye, dan cerpen “Safrida Askariyah” karya Alimuddin. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sosiologi sastra. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa meskipun mengangkat tema yang sama, yaitu konflik Aceh, ketiga cerpen tersebut memiliki fokus bahasan yang berbeda. Cerpen “Jaring-jaring Merah” dan “Safrida Askariyah” memfokuskan ceritanya pada kondisi psikologis perempuan korban perkosaan tentara, sedangkan cerpen “Dua Tengkorak Kepala” memfokuskan cerita pada korban-korban yang ditembak mati oleh tentara pada masa konflik Aceh. Dalam cerpen-cerpen mereka, Rosa, Busye, dan Alimuddin mengkritik cara kekerasan yang dilakukan Pemerintah Indonesia dalam memberantas GAM dan menuntut adanya penindakan terhadap masalah tersebut

This research discusses Aceh conflict inside the short story titled “Jaring-Jaring Merah” (Red Net), “Dua Tengkorak Kepala” (Two Head Skull), and “Safrida Askariyah”. The purpose of the research is to explain the situation in Aceh during the rebellion of Free Aceh Movement. Another purpose is to reveal the different attitudes and ideologies of the authors. The research uses descriptive analysis and comparative method using the data source from the short story of “Jaring-Jaring Merah” by Helvy Tiana Rosa, “Dua Tengkorak Kepala” by Motinggo Busye, and “Safrida Askariyah” by Alimuddin. As for the theory, the author uses the sociology of literature. Based on the result, the research concludes that even if the three short stories have the same theme, Aceh conflict, but all the authors have different focus of discussion. “Jaring-Jaring Merah” and “Safrida Askariyah” are focusing their story on the psychological condition of the victim that raped by the soldier. Meanwhile, “Dua Tengkorak Kepala” is focusing its story on the victim that shot by the police during Aceh. The author of the short stories, Rosa, Busye, and Alimuddin, also criticize the violence done by the Indonesian Government in combating the Free Aceh Movement and insist to follow up the problems"

"ABSTRAKThis paper will assess the progress and challenges of the peace agreement between the Government of Indonesian and Free Aceh Movement (MoU Helsinki) post the enactment of the Law on Aceh Government 11/2006 (LAG), particularly on the vulnerability status of MoU both in national and international legal system. Using normative approach and analysing data from local, national and international sources to describe the recent implementation of MoU. It confirms that after eleven years security and political aspect has been demonstrated, while economic and human rights-related issues remain left behind. Therefore this paper argues that the legalization of MoU in the international procedural system will ensure the compliance of agreement, and strengthen sustainable peace in Aceh-Indonesia context."
