"[Artikel ini membahas gaya penulisan Djenar Maesa Ayu pada salah satu karyanya yang berjudul ”Nayla”, didasarkan pada konsep l’écriture féminine yang dikemukakan oleh salah satu feminis postmodernisme Prancis, Hélène Cixous. Data yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah profil serta pemikiran Djenar Maesa Ayu dan novel ”Nayla” itu sendiri. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa dalam novel ”Nayla” yang ditulis oleh Djenar Maesa Ayu, konsep l’écriture féminine dapat ditemukan melalui dialog antartokoh serta tulisan-tulisan yang dihasilkan tokoh Nayla. Nayla dalam “Nayla” mencoba mendobrak ideologi patriarkal melalui tulisannya yang ditulis dengan bahasa perempuan.;

This article analyzes the writing style of Djenar Maesa Ayu in one of her novels, “Nayla”. This analysis is based on l’écriture féminine concept, a concept presented by a French postmodernism feminist, Hélène Cixous. The data collected for this analysis is obtained from Djenar Maesa Ayu’s profile, thought, and the novel entitled “Nayla” itself. As the result, this analysis would like to show that in “Nayla”, l’écriture féminine concept can be found within some parts, such as the dialogues and in certain Nayla’s writings.
