Perkembangan teknologi telah mendorong media digital untuk memaksimalkan berbagai bentuk media hiburan melalui konten audio on demand di media baru dalam bentuk podcast. Dalam kajian ini, Noice menjadi platform media yang menyediakan wadah penyebaran storytelling melalui konten podcast secara orisinal dan sebagai wadah bagi seseorang untuk mencari hiburan. Keterlibatan seseorang dengan podcast menjadi pengalaman individualnya masing-masing dan komedi menjadi genre yang paling diminati dalam konteks pemenuhan kebutuhan akan media hiburan. Melalui metode pengamatan digital non partisipan dan wawancara guna memperkuat hasil analisis, ditemukan bahwa program podcast “Musuh Masyarakat” dan “Trio Kurnia” pada platform Noice yang sama-sama bergenre komedi merupakan podcast yang menjadi konten podcast pertama yang dicari ketika individu ingin memenuhi hasrat untuk merasa terhibur, meningkatkan mood ke arah positif, serta rela mengeluarkan uang untuk mendengar episode berbayar sebagai salah satu bentuk apresiasi dan dukungan kepada para kreator podcast. ......Technological developments have encouraged digital media to maximize various forms of entertainment media through audio on demand content in new media in the form of podcasts. In this study, Noice becomes a media platform that provides a forum for spreading storytelling through original podcast content and as a place for someone to seek entertainment. A person's involvement with a podcast is an individual experience and comedy is the most popular genre in the context of fulfilling the need for entertainment media. Through non-participant digital observation methods and interviews to strengthen the results of the analysis, it was found that the podcast programs named "Musuh Masyarakat'' and "Trio Kurnia" on the Noice platform, both of which have a comedy genre, are the podcasts that become the top of mind podcast content sought after when individuals want to fulfill their desire to feel entertained, improve mood in a positive direction, and are willing to spend money to listen to paid episodes as a form of appreciation and support for podcast creators.
