"For business and investors, there's no doubt about it... The smart money is going green... and the growing movement toward ecologically forward-thinking companies is quickly becoming bigger and bigger. What may be surprising to some is that socially responsible organizations aren't just doing the right thing for the environment, they are also paying off financially, making their investors money and increasing the bottom line. "Investing in a Sustainable World" reveals the most powerful global mega-trends- from the ongoing focus on emerging markets to natural resource depletion- which are transforming the very basis on which companies will compete, and offers an approach to sustainability-enhancing investing beneficial to both investors and companies. Revolutionary and backed by undeniable statistics, this book shows the clear link between sustainability initiatives and clear-cut profitability."

This thesis discusses the role of Greenpeace Indonesia as a form of informal social reaction and pressure groups against environmental crime. The case is the refusal of the Coal Power Plant, as well as the ecological impact of adverse human life in the short term to long term. In analyzing the role carried out by Greenpeace Indonesia as social pressure group, used green movement perspectives and political status theories. Green Environmental movement contributed in understanding the environmental movement made by NGOs, the characteristics of the environmental movement should be carried out by the NGO itself. The political status theory used in analyzing the "drama" that was presented as an attempt to persuade individuals or other groups to join in the activities that run by Greenpeace Indonesia. By using data collection techniques: primary (interviews and observations) and secondary (study previous research), this research is expected to provide a comprehensive view on the given pressure as its efforts in preventing or handling environmental crime."
