"The phenomenon of rapid economic growth has caused a rise in energy consumption in Jakarta, including a rise in the need for electricity. To supply the population’s needs, Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN), Indonesia’s state-owned electricity company has a plan to build an additional power plant; the energy industry in Indonesia is currently dominated by coal-based power plants. However, this mega project will have an impact on Jakarta’s economy (gross domestic regional product, GDRP) and the CO2 emissions will have an effect as a result of the social cost of carbon because the coal-fired power plant has the highest emission rate compared with other power-plant types. Through the system-dynamics (SD) approach, this study aimed to examine several alternative policy scenarios and determine the best options that can be applied by the Jakarta government to ensure the success of electricity production, which can help to grow Jakarta’s economy and minimize the effects of CO2 emissions simultaneously. Three policies were simulated in the model: business as usual (BAU), a green policy, and a good economic policy. The results of simulation show that each scenario has its own advantages and disadvantages to achieve government target. This study reveals that using combination of green and economic policy is highly recommended to help Jakarta’s growth sustainably."

One thing that Regional Development can do in order to stimulate the regional development is maximize its main duty as financial institution, which has to distribute funds from third party in the form of credit, especially in productive sector. This research is focusing on the effect of non-oil and gas import, Gross Domestic Regional Product, and Own-Source Revenue, ROA, CAR, NPL, Third Party Funds, size, and interest rate toward credit and productive loan distribution of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia. The result shows that credit distribution is affected significantly by non-oil and gas import, Own-Source Revenue, CAR, NPL, size, and interest rate.

Based on the problem of high unemployment of upper secondary vocational education (SMK) graduates, the purpose of this research is to find out the effect of regional potential-based upper secondary education on gross domestic regional product (GDRP). Because there is a two-way relationship between regional income and regional potential-based SMK, therefore researchers use an instrumental variable approach. The analysis was carried out in 512 regencies/cities across Indonesia in 2022. This research offers a novelty which is the construction of the independent variable for vocational education majors based on regional potential using a combination of Data Pokok Pendidikan (Dapodik) from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology and data of GDRP based on it’s sectors from Central Bureau of Statistics of The Republic of Indonesia. The result of this research shows that regional potential-based upper secondary vocational education have a significant positive effect on GDRP. The effect of vocational education majors based on regional potential is proven to be bigger than the effect of majors without considering its regional potentials. From this result, researchers proposed that the making of vocational education majors must consider their regional potential."
