"This research aims to identify tax maximization of hotels and restaurants to increase Locally Raised Revenue of Bukittinggi City. Data collection used docementation and in- depth interview. The research showed that Bukittinggi City could improve Locally Raised Revenue and exced its target. However, the government realized that the obedience of tax payers is the key factors to materialized its target. The government also realized that behaviour of tax payers are main challenges for the government to maximize its income from taxing the hotels and restourants, since Indonesian government has been implementing Tax Law Regulation which uses self assessment system."

"Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh investasi asing langsung sektor pariwisata, yaitu investasi asing langsung pada hotel dan restoran dan investasi asing langsung pada transportasi terhadap jumlah kedatangan wisatawan di ASEAN. Dengan menggunakan metode Panel Vector Error Correction Model (PVECM) serta data kuartalan jumlah kedatangan wisatawan dan investasi asing langsung di ASEAN tahun 2015-2020, hasil estimasi menunjukkan bahwa investasi asing langsung pada sektor pariwisata (hotel dan restoran, transportasi) memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap jumlah kedatangan wisatawan di ASEAN dalam jangka panjang. Studi ini juga menguji kausalitas dua arah menggunakan Uji Kausalitas Granger diantara dua variabel utama dengan hasil tidak terdapat hubungan kausalitas dua arah di antara investasi asing langsung sektor pariwisata dengan jumlah kedatangan wisatawan di ASEAN.

This study aims to analyze the effect of foreign direct investment in the tourism sector, namely foreign direct investment in hotels and restaurants and foreign direct investment in transportation on the number of tourist arrivals in ASEAN. By using the Panel Vector Error Correction Model (PVECM) method as well as quarterly data on the number of tourist arrivals and foreign direct investment in ASEAN in 2015-2020, the estimation results show that foreign direct investment in the tourism sector (hotels and restaurants, transportation) has a positive and negative impact. significant impact on the number of tourist arrivals in ASEAN in the long term. This study also examines two-way causality using the Granger Causality Test between the two main variables with the result that there is no two-way causality relationship between foreign direct investment in the tourism sector and the number of tourist arrivals in ASEAN."
