"This paper tries to estimate the relationship between fiscal decentralization and government size in Indonesia by employing de Mello?s model. The impact of fiscal decentralization on government size is estimated by doing a regression on the government size indicator (as a dependent variable) that is affected by: the decentralization indicator, local government collusion indicator, and the control variable (as independent variables). The results indicated that there is a positive relation between the government size and decentralization indicators when we use the relative size of local government expenditures and fragmentation ratios as a proxy. On the other hand, the author found an irrelevant and even negative relationship between tax/non-tax autonomy and the government size. "

"Tesis ini membahas tentang upaya diplomasi Indonesia untuk mempercepat pencabutan larangan terbang yang diberlakukan oleh Uni Eropa untuk seluruh maskapai penerbangan Indonesia termasuk maskapai Garuda Indonesia yang merupakan maskapai nasional ternama. Kasus ini telah mendorong pemerintah Indonesia melakukan diplomasi untuk mempercepat pencabutan larangan terbang tersebut, karena larangan terbang ini telah mencoreng citra negara khususnya dalam industri penerbangan Indonesia. Permasalahan utama larangan terbang tersebut disebabkan oleh keselamatan penerbangan Indonesia yang rendah serta banyaknya kecelakaan penerbangan di Indonesia. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan kerangka analisis diplomasi ekonomi untuk menganalisa upaya Indonesia dalam mempercepat pencabutan larangan terbang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengenali diplomasi dan upaya pemerintah Indonesia dalam pencabutan larangan terbang tersebut. Dalam kasus ini, upaya pemerintah adalah melaksanakan kerja sama luar negeri untuk mendapatkan bantuan tim ahli penerbangan dari European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) dan menjalin kerja sama dengan International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) untuk menyetarakan tingkat keselamatan penerbangan yang setara dengan standar international. Pada saat yang sama, pemerintah Indonesia mengawasi maskapai dalam negeri untuk memperbaiki tingkat keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa upaya pemerintah Indonesia tersebut telah menghasilkan pencabutan larangan terbang yang dinyatakan oleh Uni Eropa pada tahun 2018. ......This thesis discusses Indonesia's diplomacy efforts to accelerate the lifting of flight restrictions imposed by the European Union for all Indonesian airlines including Garuda Indonesia, which is a well-known national airline. This case has prompted the Indonesian government to conduct diplomacy to accelerate the lifting of the flight ban, because this flight ban has tarnished the country's image, especially in the Indonesian aviation industry. The main issue of Indonesian airlines flight ban was caused by Indonesia's low flight safety and the number of flight accidents in Indonesia. In this study, the author conduct a framework for analyzing economic diplomacy to analyze Indonesia's efforts to accelerate the lifting of flight restrictions. This economic diplomacy includes state to intergovernmental organizations relations, state to corporate relations and corporate to corporate relations. The purpose of this research is to recognize the diplomacy and efforts of the Indonesian government in lifting the flight ban. In this case, the government's efforts are to carry out foreign cooperation to get the assistance of aviation expert team from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and establish cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) to equalize the level of flight safety to international standards. At the same time, the Indonesian government oversees domestic airlines to improve the level of flight safety and security. In this study, the authors conclude that the Indonesian government's efforts have resulted in the lifting of the ban imposed by the European Union in 2018. "

"ABSTRAKPerkembangan pelaksanaan otonomi daerah di Indonesia telah membawa perubahan pada kedudukan Kecamatan dan Desa. Perubahan kedudukan ini berimplikasi pada berubahnya pola hubungan antara pemerintah Kecamatan dan Desa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara pemerintahan Desa Bendungan, Desa Banjarsari dan Desa Bojong Murni dengan pemerintah Kecamatan Ciawi serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan post positivist dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pemilihan lokus penelitian dilakukan dengan melihat beberapa pertimbangan (purposive sampling). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama ini hubungan antara Pemerintah Desa Bendungan, Desa Banjarsari dan Desa Bojong Murni dengan Pemerintah Kecamatan Ciawi belum berjalan secara optimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi hubungan antar pemerintahan yaitu human relations, kompetensi SDM, struktur politik lokal dan perubahan sosial.

ABSTRACTThe development of decentralization in Indonesia has brought a change inthe position of subdistrict and village government. The position change hasimplications for the changing pattern of the intergovernmental relations betweenthe subdistrict and village government. The purpose of this study was to analyzesthe intergovernmental relations between the village government of Bendungan,Banjarsari and Bojong Murni with Ciawi subdistrict government and analyzes thefactors that influence it. This study uses a post-positivist approach and descriptivetype of research. Selection locus of research done to see some consideration(purposive sampling). The research results showed that during this time theintergovernmental relationship between the village government of Bendungan,Banjarsari and Bojong Murni with Ciawi subdistrict government has not runoptimally. It is caused by several factors that affect the intergovernmental relationssuch as human relations, human resource competencies, local political structuresand social change."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak kebijakan penetapan Upah terhadap fluktuasi aliran Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) pada sektor industri di Pulau Jawa dengan menggunakan metode regresi data panel pada kurun waktu tahun 2005-2014. Dari hasil penelitian terbukti bahwa variabel upah (minimum dan relative) tidak signifikan mempengaruhi aliran FDI pada sektor industri di Pulau Jawa. Sedangkan variabel infrastruktur (panjang jalan dan distribusi listik), maupun ukuran pasar (infrastruktur perdagangan) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap aliran FDI pada sektor industri di Pulau Jawa. ......This research aims to analyze the impact of policy related to setted the wage on fluctuation of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)  inflow on Industry Sector in Java Island which used regression Panel Data as the method during period 2005-2014. As the result, wage is not significantly affecting, while infrastructure (length of road and electricity distribution), moreover market size (trade infrastructure) showing the reverse impact."
