"Terapi komplementer merupakan terapi yang digunakan bersamaan dengan terapi medis lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan karakteristik demografi dengan pengguna terapi komplementer dengan desain deskriptif korelasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 88 pengguna terapi di Kecamatan Beji, Depok. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Rata-rata umur pengguna terapi komplementer adalah 43 tahun dengan pengguna terapi terbanyak adaiah perempuan, berpendidikan perguruan tinggi, suku Jawa, dan beragama Islam. Dari penelitian disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara karakteristik demografi dengan pengguna terapi komplementer. Saran bagi peneliti selanjutnya adalah memperluas wilayah penelitian dan menambah variabel penelitian.

Complementary therapy is a therapy used in with any other medical therapy. This research is quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship of demographic characteristics with complementary therapy users with descriptive correlation design. The average age of users of complementary therapies is 43 years with most therapy users were female, college educated, ethnic Javanese and Muslim. The conclusion of this research is there was no relationship between demographic characteristics of the users of complementary therapies. The researchers suggests that expand the research area and add the research variables."
