Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas stage mother sebagai pelaku kekerasan terhadap anak dalam anime Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan teori sosiologi sastra, konsep representasi Stuart Hall, serta teknik sinematografi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kekerasan terhadap anak oleh ibu dalam anime Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso didominasi oleh kekerasan mental. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa pelaku kekerasan terhadap anak dalam anime ini merupakan seorang stage mother yang menaruh ekspektasi berlebihan kepada anaknya. Hal ini disebabkan impian ibu yang tidak tercapai sehingga ia mengharapkan anaknya untuk menggantikannya dalam meraih mimpinya tersebut. ...... The focus of this research is to analyze how stage mother become a perpetrator of child abuse in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso anime. This research uses descriptive analysis method and uses sociology of literature theory, Stuart Hall rsquo s representation concept, and cinematographic technique. The analysis result shows that psychological abuse is the most frequently happened in Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso anime. The analysis result also discovers that the perpetrator of child abuse in this anime is a stage mother that caused by her failed attempt to achieve her dream. Because of that, she has exaggerated expectation towards her child to replace her achieving her dream.
