"Persentase menyusui bayi kembar masih rendah dibandingkan dengan bayi yang lahir tunggal. Di lain pihak ada ibu-ibu yang berhasil memberikan ASI eksklusif bahkan dengan jumlah bayi lebih dari dua. Tujuan penelitan studi kasus ini dilakukan adalah memahami secara utuh kasus ibu yang memberikan ASI eksklusif pada bayi kembar dua, kembar empat dan kembar lima. Tiga orang ibu dengan jumlah bayi kembar yang berbeda menyetujui untuk berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Analisis data penelitian ini dilakukan secara sistematis dengan mengidentifikasi kategori dan tema dari transkrip hasil wawancara. Sepuluh tema yang teridentifikasi kemudian diceritakan sesuai dengan kronologis selama proses ibu menyusui. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ibu dengan bayi kembar dapat menyusui secara eksklusif dengan adanya kepercayaan diri dan dukungan dari lingkungan.

The percentage of breastfeeding multiple infants is still low compared with babies born to single. However, on the other hand there are mothers who managed exclusively breastfeed to infants with an even number of more than two. The purpose of this case study qualitative research is to understand the who case of mothers who exclusively breastfeeding to twins, quadruplets and quintuplets infants. Three mothers who gave exclusively breastfed to multiple infants participated in this study. Data analysis was conducted systematically by identifying categories and themes from the interviews transcript. Ten themes were identified later told according to the chronological during breastfeeding mothers. This study showed that the mothers with multiple infants that give exclusively breastfeed had self confidence and get support from her environment."
