"Kesiapan sekolah siswa merupakan hal yang menjadi pondasi bagaimana siswa dapat mengikuti program yang diterapkan di sekolah baik dalam menerima pelajaran maupun menaati peraturan. Menyadari pentingnya kesiapan sekolah membuat lembaga internasional dan nasional mengembangkan program pendidikan usia dini agar anak-anak memiliki pembekalan sebelum mereka memulai pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar. Mulai dari pemberian dana untuk membangun Kelompok Bermain sampai mewajibkan anak-anak untuk mengikuti program TK-B sebagai prasyarat masuk Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari apakah ada pengaruh dari partisipasi anak di pendidikan usia dini khususnya tingkat taman kanak-anak dalam kesiapan sekolah siswa. Menggunakan data Bank Dunia yang diambil dari 310 desa miskin di Indonesia serta menggunakan Early Development Instrument sebagai alat pengukuran kesiapan sekolah dan menggunakan analisis regresi OLS, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa partisipasi anak-anak di taman kanak-kanak tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap skor EDI yang menggambarkan kesiapan sekolah siswa. Kemungkinan hal ini dikarenakan peran orang tua lebih mendominasi dalam memengaruhi skor physical well-being anak, untuk domain language and cognitive development serta domain communication and general knowledge dikarenakan oleh pendidikan dan pengalaman guru dalam pendidikan usia dini terbilang rendah, dan untuk domain social competence serta domain emotional maturity dikarenakan adanya spill-over effect dan tingginya peran keluarga. Jadi untuk penelitian selanjutnya perlu dianalisis mengenai aspek keluarga dan sekolah mengenai kesiapan sekolah siswa.

The foundation for kids' ability to follow the programs put in place at school, both in receiving instruction and adhering to rules, is their preparedness for school. International and national organizations have created early childhood education programs in recognition of the significance of school preparation so that kids are prepared before entering primary school. From providing funding to create play groups to requiring kids to participate in the TK-B program as a requirement for entering primary school, there are many ways to make this happen. This study intends to investigate whether early childhood education, particularly at the kindergarten level, has an impact on students' preparedness for school. This study found that children's participation in kindergarten has no significant impact on the EDI score, which describes readiness for the student's school, using World Bank data from 310 impoverished Indonesian villages and the Early Development Instrument as a tool to measure school readiness. For the language and cognitive development domain as well as the communication and general knowledge domain, as well as the social competence domain and domain emotional maturity due to the spillover effect and the high role of the family, it is possible that this is the case. Teachers' education and experience in early childhood education may also play a part in these findings. Analysis of home and school factors relating to students' preparedness for school is therefore important for further research.

"[ABSTRAK
Usia prasekolah merupakan masa persiapan anak untuk masuk sekolah. Pada usia
ini perkembangan sosial, emosi, dan kognitif anak berkembang dengan cepat.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi
kesiapan anak usia prasekolah untuk mulai bersekolah. Desain penelitian ini
menggunakan studi deskriptif. Dengan pengumpulan data kesiapan sekolah
menggunakan pemeriksaan Nijmeegse Schoolbekwaanheids Test (NST) pada 206
anak. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan sebesar 42,3% anak sudah siap masuk
sekolah. Hasil regresi logistik multinomial menunjukkan jenis kelamin anak,
pendidikan ibu, pekerjaan ibu, penghasilan keluarga, dan perilaku orang tua
merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan masuk sekolah. Penelitian ini
merekomendasikan perawat dapat memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya peran
ibu dalam mempersiapkan anak masuk sekolah terutama pada anak usia
prasekolah.

"ABSTRAK
Seorang anak perlu menguasai kesiapan sekolah sebelum ia masuk Sekolah Dasar.
Salah satu aspek kesiapan sekolah yang perlu dikuasai adalah keterampilan sosial,
khususnya perilaku terkait tugas. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji
efektivitas program modifikasi perilaku dengan metode social modeling dan token
economy untuk meningkatkan perilaku terkait tugas di kelas anak. Desain yang
digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa program ini cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan perilaku terkait tugas subjek di
kelas dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terutama pada perilaku mengikuti
instruksi verbal guru selama kegiatan di kelas dan mengarahkan pandangan mata ke
arah guru selama guru mengajar.

ABSTRACT
A child should have a school readiness before entering the elementary school. The
one of school readiness’ aspect that a child should mastering is a social behavior,
especially task related behavior. The objective of this present research is discovering
the effectiveness of a behavior modification program with social modeling dan token
economy to increase task related of behavior of a child in the classroom. The research
uses pretest-posttest control group design. The result shows that the program is
effective to increase task related behavior on subject in the classroom and there are
significance differences in following teacher’s verbal instructions during class’
activity and paying attention to the teacher when she teaches the subject.
