"This research is aimed to investigate the key sectors in the economy of Sanggau District. This research is descriptive and is using input-output analysis to find out the multiplier of economic sectors. In addition we also investigate the linkage among economic sectors, which are measured by backward and forward linkage indexes. The finding of this research shows that there are two sectors being the key namely the processing industry and transportation and communication sectors with backward and forward linkage indexes above the average level of the other sectors. Agriculture were found to be the sector with the biggest employment absorption. Based on this finding, the development policy strategies should be directed toward the policy that creates maximum economy, particularly in the sectors of processing industry and transportation and communication. As it will create a better distribution of job vacation among sectors in Sanggau District."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak investasi pembangunan jalan tol trans sumatera ruas Bakauheni – Tanjung api-api terhadap peekonomian provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan provinsi Lampung. Data yang digunakan adalah Tabel Input-Output Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dan Tabel Input-Output Provinsi Lampung tahun 2010. Hasil Analisis dengan metode analisis input-output menunjukkan bahwa input primer (balas jasa faktor produksi) yang diperlukan untuk memproduksi satuan unit output sektor angkutan darat jauh lebih besar dibanding dengan input antaranya. Sektor yang mempunyai keterkaitan langsung ke belakang (backward linkage) tertinggi adalah sektor Industri logam dasar bukan besi di Sumatera Selatan adalah sektor ketenagalistrikan di Lampung. Sektor yang mempunyai keterkaitan langsung ke depan (forward linkage) tertinggi adalah sektor industri makanan, minuman & tembakau di Sumatera Selatan dan sektor industri kimia, farmasi dan obat tradisional. Sektor kunci di Sumatera Selatan dan Lampung adalah sektor Industri Makanan, Minuman & Tembakau.

This study aims to analyze the impact of investment on the construction of the Bakauheni - Tanjung Tanjung - Toll road to the South Sumatera and Lampung provinces. The data used is the Input-Output Table of South Sumatera Province and the Input-Output Table of Lampung Province in 2010. The result of the analysis by input-output analysis method shows that the primary input (production factor service) needed to produce unit of output unit of land transportation sector far larger than the input between them. The sector with the highest backward linkage is the non base metal industry sector in South Sumatra is the electricity sector in Lampung. Sectors that have the highest forward linkage are the food, beverage and tobacco industries in South Sumatra and the chemical industry, pharmaceutical and traditional medicine sectors. The key sectors in South Sumatra and Lampung are Food Industry, Beverage & Tobacco Industry sectors."
