Abstrak :
Makalah non seminar ini membahas apakah tertawa itu salah. Diakui bahwa tawa dapat memiliki efek positif dan negatif pada individu dan masyarakat dan menekankan pentingnya memperhatikan konteks dan niat saat menggunakan humor dan tawa. Pada akhirnya, Makalah ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan bijaksana dan penuh perhatian dalam penggunaan humor dan tawa kita, kita dapat meningkatkan hubungan yang positif dan sehat dengan orang lain. ......The essay discusses whether it is ever wrong to laugh. It acknowledges that laughter can have both positive and negative effects on individuals and society and emphasizes the importance of being mindful of the context and intention when using humor and laughter. Ultimately, the essay suggests that by being thoughtful and considerate in our use of humor and laughter, we can promote positive and healthy relationships with others.

Abstrak :
Penelitian ini mengkaji mengenai naskah Gumuyu yang merupakan naskah koleksi Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia dengan kode NB 1567. Selain memuat manfaat, dalam teks juga disebutkan faktor-faktor yang dapat dilakukan agar seseorang dapat tertawa. Berdasarkan hal tersebut didapat masalah utama yaitu apa makna tertawa yang terkandung dalam teks Gumuyu. Kemudian dari permasalahan tersebut didapatkan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk menjelaskan apa sajakah manfaat tertawa bagi kesehatan serta bagi hubungan sosial. Oleh karena penelitian ini menggunakan naskah kuno, maka penelitian ini menggunakan metode naskah tunggal dan langkah kerja filologi yang meliputi inventarisasi naskah; deskripsi naskah; pertanggungjawaban alih aksara dan pengalihaksaraan. Untuk menganalisis manfaat tertawa dalam teks digunakan teori Sosiologi Sastra. Secara jasmani, tertawa memiliki manfaat baik bagi wajah yaitu wajah menjadi terlihat lebih awet muda dan terlihat ramah. Seseorang yang memiliki wajah yang ramah secara otomatis akan menebarkan aura positif bagi orang lain yang berada di sekitarnya, hal tersebut tentu saja berdampak baik pada hubungan sosial yang dimiliki. Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa tertawa juga berdampak baik bagi psikologis seseorang karena tertawa dapat menurunkan hormon stress dalam tubuh yang dapat memicu penyakit-penyakit lain. ......This research examines the Gumuyu manuscript which is a manuscript collection of the National Library of Indonesia with code NB 1567. In addition to containing benefits, the text also mentions factors that can be done so that someone can laugh. Based on this, the main problem is what is the meaning of laughter contained in Gumuyu's text. Then from these problems the research objective was obtained, namely to explain what are the benefits of laughter for health and for social relationships. Because this research uses ancient manuscripts, this research uses the single manuscript method and philological work steps which include an inventory of manuscripts; script description; accountability for transliteration and translation. To analyze the benefits of laughing in a text, the theory of Sociology of Literature is used. Physically, laughter has good benefits for the face, namely the face becomes more youthful and looks friendly. Someone who has a friendly face will automatically spread a positive aura to other people around him, this of course has a good impact on their social relationships. In addition, research results also show that laughter also has a good impact on a person's psychology because laughter can reduce stress hormones in the body that can trigger other diseases.

[Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan bagaimana unsur-unsur humor digunakan untuk memarodikan konsep maskulinitas agen rahasia dalam film Austin Powers : International Man of Mystery dan Austin Powers : The Spy Who Shagged Me dan menunjukkan bagaimana parodi dan tawa bekerja untuk mempertahankan atau menolak sebuah ideologi dominan maskulinitas agen rahasia James Bond. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi tipologi humor yang digunakan dalam kedua film dan membandingkan atribut-atribut maskulinitas Austin Powers dengan konsep maskulinitas agen rahasia ideal menggunakan pendekatan semiotik. Penelitian menemukan bahwa di satu sisi kedua film berusaha untuk membongkar konsep maskulinitas ideal tersebut, sementara di sisi lain ditemukan juga adanya peneguhan konsep maskulinitas ideal yang dilakukan oleh kedua film. ......The purpose of this thesis is to show how the typology of humor in parody films is used in Austin Powers : International Man of Mystery and The Spy Who Shagged Me to strengthen and/or resist the dominant ideology represented by the ideal male secret agent masculinity ideology in James Bond movies. The analysis is conducted by identifying the typology of humor used in the films and comparing Austin Powers’ masculinity attributes to the ideal secret agent masculinity attributes using semiotic approach.
