Abstrak :
This book emerges from within the everyday knowledge practices of International Relations (IR) scholarship and explores the potential of experimental writing as an alternative source of 'knowledge' and political imagination within the modern university and the contemporary structures of neoliberal government. It unlocks and foregrounds the power of writing as a site of resistance and a vehicle of transformation that is fundamentally grounded in reflexivity, self-crafting and an ethos of care. In an attempt to cultivate new sensibilities to habitual academic practice the project re-appropriates the skill of writing for envisioning and enacting what it might mean to be working in the discipline of IR and inhabiting the usual spaces and scenes of academic life differently. The practice of experimental writing that intuitively unfolds and develops in the book makes an important methodological intervention into conventional social scientific inquiry both regarding the politics of writing and knowledge production as well as the role and position of the researcher. The formal innovations of the book include the actualization and creative remaking of the Foucaultian genre of the 'experience book, ' which seeks to challenge scholarly routine and offers new experiences and modes of perception as to what it might mean to 'know' and to be a 'knowing subject' in our times. The book will be of interest to researchers engaged in critical and creative research methods (particularly narrative writing, autobiography, storytelling, experimental and transformational research), Foucault studies and philosophy, as well as critical approaches to contemporary government and studies of resistance.

ABSTRAK Bunuh diri merupakan masalah yang cukup serius dan kurang dibahas di Indonesia. Pelaku bunuh diri merasa terkurung dalam keadaan yang sangat buruk, tidak ada jalan keluar, dan berfikir bahwa mereka tidak dapat menyelamatkan diri. Oleh karena itu, mereka membunuh diri mereka sendiri. Mereka memilih untuk melakukan usaha bunuh diri karena bagi mereka tidak ada jalan keluar selain kematian atau mereka melihat bahwa dengan melakukan perbuatan yang membahayakan diri, apa yang ingin mereka sampaikan, seperti permintaan pertolongan, akan diketahui oleh orang lain. Usaha bunuh diri tersebut selalu terjadi di saat krisis bunuh diri yang diawali oleh pemikiran untuk bunuh diri, dan ketika mereka berencana untuk bunuh diri, mereka menggunakan wayfinding untuk mencapai alat dan tempat yang ideal untuk bunuh diri. Bunuh diri itu sendiri merupakan sebuah proses sequential, yang terdiri dari keadaan terjebak, usaha untuk bunuh diri, dan kematian, dan adanya sequence tersebut dapat dilihat sebagai proses berpindah dari suatu keadaan dan keadaan lain, atau yang bisa disebut rites of passage. Sebagai sebuah transisi, usaha bunuh diri memberikan pengalaman liminality terhadap pelaku bunuh diri. Melihat urgensi transisi pelaku bunuh diri dari keadaan terjebak tersebut ke keadaan yang lebih baik, urgensi komunikasi yang dimiliki oleh pelaku bunuh diri terhadap orang lain, dan wayfinding serta affordance yang digunakan pelaku untuk bunuh diri, maka pembentukan responsive dan memberi wujud pada batas ruang liminal secara temporer dan sistematis dapat menjadi alat komunikasi bagi pelaku bunuh diri kepada masyarakat, mencegah pelaku untuk mencapai alat dan tempat bunuh diri dengan memperpanjang liminality yang dialami pelaku, dan secara literal dan metaforikal membebaskan pelaku bunuh diri dari krisis bunuh diri yang ada ......ABSTRACT Suicide is a serious problem and less explored in Indonesia. Suicidal fell trapped in horrible state, with no way out, and thinking that they cannot save themselves. Thus, they end their own life. They choose to attempt suicide because for them the only way out is death or by doing self-harm acts, what they want to express, like cries for help, will be noticed by the others. The suicide attempts always happen while suicide crisis that is started by suicide thought, and when the suicidal planned to attempt suicide, they use wayfinding in order to reach the tools or places that was ideal for them to commit suicide. Suicide itself is a sequential process that consists of state of being trapped, attempting suicide, and death, and that sequence is a process of journey from a state to the other. As a transition, suicide attempt gives experience of liminality to the suicidal. Seeing the urgency for suicidal to transit from a condition of being trapped to a better state, urgency of the suicidal to communicate to the others, and wayfinding, affordance also, that is used to attempt suicide, thus responsive forming and temporary but systematically give shape to the threshold of the liminal space can be used as means of communication for the suicidal to the society, prevent the suicidal to reach the tools and place of suicide by prolong state of liminal that is experienced by the suicidal, and finally, literally and metaphorically, freed the suicidal from the suicide crisis.

Dinamika kehidupan masyarakat Dusun Poncol telah lama berkait erat dengan Arak Jowo yang telah menjadi identitas dan komoditas. Proses konstruksi identitas Arak Jowo di Dusun Poncol yang berlangsung dalam waktu lama tidak hanya melibatkan pemasak Arak Jowo sebagai produsen tetapi juga masyarakat Dusun Poncol dan masyarakat lain di sekitar Kabupaten Ngawi. masyarakat Dusun Poncol dan masyarakat lain terjadi dalam praktik konsumsi dan jual beli Arak Jowo yang diproduksi oleh pemasak Arak Jowo di Dusun Poncol. Namun, pemasak Arak Jowo sebagai bagian masyarakat Dusun Poncol ini terpaksa harus kehilangan pekerjaannya karena terbitnya Perda nomor 10 tahun 2012 Kabupaten Ngawi dan implementasinya dengan bentuk penertiban gabungan yang berlangsung pada tahun 2018. Pasca penertiban berlangsung, pemasak Arak Jowo merasa bimbang karena keahlian utama yang mereka kuasai dilarang untuk dilakukan lagi berdasarkan peraturan hukum formal yang berlaku. Pasca penertiban, pemasak Arak Jowo mengalami dilema dalam memahami identitas sosial mereka dan cara memenuhi kebutuhan ekonomi keluarga mereka. Penertiban juga meninggalkan trauma dan bagi ketakutan pemasak Arak Jowo Dusun Poncol terlebih tentang kekacauan terhadap orang luar. Kondisi liminal memaksa pemasak Arak Jowo merasakan kondisi yang serba sulit baik untuk tetap melakukan aktivitas produksi Arak Jowo maupun meninggalkan aktivitas tersebut dan memulai aktivitas baru pengganti Arak Jowo. ......The dynamics of the life of the Dusun Poncol people has long been closely related to Arak Jowo which has become an identity and a commodity. The process of constructing the identity of Arak Jowo in Dusun Poncol which took a long time did not only involve the cooks of Arak Jowo as producers but also the people of Dusun Poncol and other communities around Ngawi Regency. The people of Dusun Poncol and other communities are involved in the practice of consuming and buying and selling Arak Jowo produced by Arak Jowo cooks in Dusun Poncol. However, the cooks of Arak Jowo, as part of the Dusun Poncol community, were forced to lose their jobs due to the issuance of Regional Regulation number 10 of 2012 of Ngawi Regency and its implementation in a combined form of control which took place in 2018. After the control took place, the cooks of Arak Jowo felt confused because the main expertise they mastery is prohibited from being carried out again based on the applicable formal legal regulations. After the control, the cooks of Arak Jowo experienced a dilemma in understanding their social identity and how to meet their family's economic needs. The control also left trauma and fear for the cooks of Arak Jowo Dusun Poncol especially about chaos towards outsiders. This liminal condition forced the cooks of Arak Jowo to experience difficult conditions both to continue to carry out Arak Jowo production activities and to leave these activities and start new activities to replace Arak Jowo.

Pada masa Post-COVID-19 saat ini, terdapat keinginan dari setiap orang untuk kembali memenuhi kebutuhannya untuk bersosialisasi. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, pemerintah dengan gencar melakukan pengadaan serta pengembangan ruang publik terbuka yang aman untuk bersosialisasi. Pada ruang publik yang memungkinkan setiap orang untuk mengekspresikan kebebasannya, fenomena transformasi dapat dibentuk oleh street music performer melalui pertunjukannya yang bertindak sebagai aktivitas sosial. Kemampuannya dalam mentransformasikan ruang publik dari keadaan physical space menuju social place untuk sementara waktu dianggap sebagai sebuah kapasitas yang dimiliki street music performance dalam menciptakan ruang liminal. Hal tersebut dicapai melalui proses social production serta interiorisasi ruang publik. Dalam melakukannya, mereka berupaya untuk membangun hubungan dengan suatu lingkungan serta menciptakan keterlibatan dengan orang-orang yang berada di dalamnya. Melalui penulisan skripsi ini, studi kasus terhadap salah satu public square akan dilakukan untuk mengamati bagaimana ruang liminal terbentuk berkat kehadiran street music performance pada proses yang berlangsung pada tidak adanya pertunjukan hingga sangat adanya pertunjukan. ......In the current Post-COVID-19 period, there is a desire among everyone to meet their needs to socialize again. Their ability to transform public space from a physical space to a social place is temporarily considered a capacity that street music performance has in creating liminal space. This is achieved through the process of social production and the interiorization of public space. In doing so, they seek to build relationships with an environment and create engagement with the people in it. Through the writing of this thesis, a case study of one public square will be conducted to observe how liminal space is formed with the presence of street music performance in the process that takes place in the absence of performances to the very existence of performances.

DKI Jakarta menghadapi kemacetan lalu lintas sebagai masalah utama karena pertumbuhan penduduk yang cepat dan imigrasi yang tidak terkendali. Pemerintah DKI Jakarta menerapkan dan mengembangkan berbagai inovasi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut mulai dari angkutan umum seperti sistem bus milik swasta, dan kini DKI Jakarta akhirnya mengembangkan Mass Rapid Transition atau yang lebih dikenal dengan MRT. Pemerintah DKI Jakarta meminta PT MRT Jakarta mengembangkan konsep kawasan transit oriented development (TOD) di beberapa stasiun tahap 1 koridor selatan-utara. Transit Oriented Development (TOD) adalah kawasan perkotaan yang dirancang untuk mengintegrasikan fungsi transit dengan orang, aktivitas, gedung, dan ruang publik dengan tujuan untuk mengoptimalkan akses transportasi umum sehingga dapat mendukung daya dukung penumpang. Karena transit disorot sebagai ciri utama MRT, tentunya akan terlihat bagaimana liminalitas dilihat dan diamati di Stasiun MRT, terutama di Stasiun MRT Bundaran HI karena posisinya menjadi stasiun pertama dan stasiun terakhir di MRT Jakarta dan menjadikan Stasiun MRT terpadat dan tersibuk di Jakarta. Penelitian ini akan melakukan analisis dari observasi peneliti di Bundaran Stasiun MRT HI dan pengalaman penumpang di Bundaran Stasiun MRT HI terhadap teori liminalitas. Peneliti melakukan wawancara kepada 4 orang peserta tentang pengalamannya di Stasiun MRT Bundaran HI. Pengalaman mereka menunjukkan bagaimana mereka secara tidak sadar mengalami liminalitas melalui elemen-elemen yang ada di Stasiun MRT Bundaran HI. Stasiun MRT Bundaran HI terbukti sebagai ruang liminal karena karakteristiknya yang menentukan batas, zona pemisah, peralihan dan penggabungan. ......DKI Jakarta is facing traffic congestion as its main problem due to rapid population growth and uncontrollable immigration. DKI Jakarta government implemented and developed various innovation to overcome this problem from public transportation like private-owned bus systems, and now DKI Jakarta finally develops Mass Rapid Transition or more well known as MRT. DKI Jakarta government prompted PT MRT Jakarta to develop the concept of a transit oriented development (TOD) area at several stations in phase 1 of the south-north corridor. Transit Oriented Development is an urban area designed to integrate transit functions with people, activities, buildings, and public spaces with the aim of optimizing access to public transportation so that it can support passenger carrying capacity. As transit is highlighted as the main characteristic of MRT, this will definitely how liminality is seen and observable in MRT Station, especially in Bundaran HI MRT Station for its setting of being the first station and the last station in the Jakarta MRT and cause the most crowded and busiest MRT Station in Jakarta. This study will conduct an analysis from researcher observation of Bundaran HI MRT Station and passengers’ experience in Bundaran HI MRT Station towards liminality theory. The researcher conducts an interview to 4 participants about their experience in Bundaran HI MRT Station. Their experiences show how they unconsciously experience the liminality through the elements in the Bundaran HI MRT Station. Bundaran HI MRT Station is approved to be a liminal space because of its characteristics that define the limit, the zones of separation, transition, and incorporation.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kerasukan sebagai liminalitas dalam anime Jujutsu Kaisen karya MAPPA Studio. Data primer diperoleh dari anime Jujutsu Kaisen dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Adegan-adegan yang dianggap mengandung liminalitas dikumpulkan dan dipilah. Data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi pustaka menggunakan artikel jurnal, buku, dan bahan akademis lainnya yang ditemukan di internet. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah liminalitas oleh Victor Turner dan kerasukan ilahi oleh Joshua Samuel. Penelitian ini menemukan unsur liminalitas dalam kerasukan yang dialami Itadori Yuji oleh Ryomen Sukuna, yang ditandai dengan karakteristik ganda Itadori, yang menunjukkan atribut unik "antara dan di antara". Tokoh utama Itadori Yuji memiliki identitas dan status sosial yang ambigu. Ritus peralihannya dari dunia manusia ke dunia penyihir jujutsu penuh dengan konflik personal dan ideologis, sebagian besar terkait dengan kutukan yang ada di dalam dirinya. Primary data is obtained from the anime Jujutsu Kaisen using documentation techniques. Scenes considered to contain liminality are compiled and sorted. Secondary data is obtained through a literature study consisting of journal articles, books, and other academic materials found on the internet. Theories used in this study are liminality by Victor Turner and divine possession by Joshua Samuel. This study discovers elements of liminality in Itadori Yuji's possession by Ryomen Sukuna, as shown by double characteristics that belong to Itadori, showcasing the unique attributes of "betwixt and between''. The protagonist Itadori Yuji has an ambiguous identity and social standing. His rites of passage from the human world to the world of jujutsu sorcerers are rife with personal and ideological conflicts, most of which related to the curse residing within him. His bond with Sukuna is mutually destructive, as Sukuna schemes to take over his body and Itadori aims to execute him, yet Itadori unwittingly serves as Sukuna’s mouthpiece and verificator in exchange of raw power.
