"Logistik pengembalian memegang kunci penting dalam pengumpulan sampah elektronik. Permasalahan yang sering muncul pada logistik pengembalian adalah mahalnya biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk mencapai area tertentu. Salah satu kondisinya adalah terjadi isu komunitas pada area tertentu sehingga seringkali perlu adanya perlakuan khusus. Perlakuan khusus tersebut tidaklah berlebihan mengingat sampah elektronik yang tidak diperbolehkan disimpan dalam melebihi tujuh hari di daerah yang belum mempunyai izin khusus untuk menyimpan dan mengolah. Besaran uang, sebagai perlakuan khusus sering kali berbeda pada tiap daerah dan perlakuannya. Dengan menggunakan Linear programming maka akan muncul rute jaringan terpadu antara infrastruktur yang telah dimiliki oleh Indonesia. Adapun untuk mendukung pemenuhan kapasitas maka diperlukan konsolidasi di beberapa kota besar. Keberadaan konsolidasi tersebut juga sangat penting untuk mengurangi isu komunitas yang terkait dengan biaya operasional dari armada. Setelah diolah, maka ditemukan bahwa wilayah pulau Sumatera dapat mengenalimemiliki rute efisien seperti pemenuhan kapasitas di Bekasi dan Tangerang oleh pengiriman dari Bandar Lampung.

Reverse logistics hold the important key to collecting electronic waste. Problem that always occurs in reverse logistics is the expensive cost needed to acces some route. One of the reason it happens was the community issue in certain area with different approach and cost. Electronic waste itself is a hazardous substance that needs to be treated differently. Some regions only have storage permit for seven days, while few have the rights to process the electronics waste. It means that electronic waste needs to be transfered from one regions to other while passing through the area with community issue cost. Using linear programming, determine the efficient route for reverse logistics in Indonesia will possible. A consolidation will be placed in several region in order to support fullfillment of capacity. Meanwhile, the consolidation itself will reduce the community issue involve in operational cost of armada. Efficient route has been found in Indonesia following the capacity constraint in each region such as from Bandar lampung consolidation to Bekasi processing plant."
