Bidang konstruksi sedang mengalami kenaikan yang cukup tajam pada beberapa tahun ini.Peningkatan ini mempengaruhi meningkatnya timbulan limbah konstruksi yang cukup merugikan. Pengolahan limbah konstruksi ini merupakan salah satu alternatif pengurangan dampak limbah tersebut.Dilakukan pengamatan dengan survey serta perhitungan mengenai Life Cycle Inventory dan perhitungan ekonomis tentang pengolahan limbah konstruksi pada Material Recovery Facility (MRF) untuk mengevaluasi kinerja dari MRF tersebut, menganalisa efisiensi kinerja dari ailiran material pada MRF, serta mengetahui besarnya manfaat yang dapat diperoleh dan kerugian yang dapat dikurangi. Dalam proses peninjauan, MRF ini mengolah 77,61% limbah yang dikelola dengan didominasi oleh limbah puing dan dapat digunakan kembali sebagai tanah urugan.Didapatkan hasil bahwa pengolahan MRF ini mengalami kerugian sebesar Rp.25.275.000,- pada bulan Februari 2014, namun jika ditinjau dalam jangka waktu setahun, MRF ini mendapatkan keuntungan sebesar Rp 53.400.000,-.

Construction subject has a significant increasing for recent years. The increasing of the construction increase the construction waste generated which has some destructive impact. The treatment of the construction waste is one of alternatives to decrease the impact. The survey, Life Cycle Inventoryand economic calculation about the treatment of construction waste with Material Recovery Facility (MRF) is held to evaluate the performance of MRF, analyze the efficiency of flow material in MRF and know the benefit gained and the deficit reduced. This MRF treats 77.61% construction waste generatedwhich dominated by concrete waste and produces secondary material which is used as a land heap. "Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja Unit Pengolahan Sampah (UPS) di Kota Depok dalam rangka mengurangi jumlah sampah yang diangkut ke Tempat Pembuangan Akhir (TPA) Cipayung. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga UPS yang berada di bawah naungan Dinas Lingkungan Hidup dan Kebersihan (DLHK) Kota Depok, yaitu UPS Jalan Jawa, UPS Sukatani, dan UPS Merdeka 1. Evaluasi kinerja dilakukan dengan menganalisis efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengolahan sampah di UPS secara umum berupa pengangkutan dari sumber, pemilahan, pencacahan, pengomposan, pengayakan, dan pengemasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketiga UPS tersebut telah memenuhi sebagian besar kriteria yang ditetapkan, meskipun masih terdapat beberapa aspek yang perlu diperbaiki. Berdasarkan tabel tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa UPS Merdeka 1 memiliki performa terbaik di antara ketiga UPS yang dianalisis, dengan persentase pengurangan jumlah sampah yang masuk ke TPA sebesar 0,81%, diikuti oleh UPS Jalan Jawa dengan 0,79%, dan UPS Sukatani dengan 0,67%. Dalam hal kualitas kompos, UPS Jalan Jawa memenuhi 8 dari 11 parameter, UPS Sukatani memenuhi 6 dari 11 parameter, sementara data untuk UPS Merdeka 1 tidak tersedia, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi lebih lanjut terkait dengan hasil produk kompos. Ketiga UPS ini menunjukkan implementasi desain yang baik, masing-masing memenuhi 9 dari 10 parameter yang ditetapkan oleh Kriteria Permen PUPR No. 3 Tahun 2013 dan Perda Kota Depok No. 13 Tahun 2018. UPS Merdeka 1 juga unggul dalam pemenuhan kapasitas desain dengan tingkat 54,28%, diikuti oleh UPS Jalan Jawa dengan 53,20%, dan UPS Sukatani dengan 46,45%. Dari segi sumber daya manusia, UPS Merdeka 1 memiliki jumlah pekerja terbanyak, yaitu 13 orang, disusul oleh UPS Jalan Jawa dengan 11 pekerja, dan UPS Sukatani dengan 10 pekerja. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah di UPS Kota Depok telah berjalan dengan baik, namun perlu adanya perbaikan lebih lanjut dalam aspek penempatan lokasi dan peningkatan kualitas kompos.

This study aims to evaluate the performance of Waste Processing Units (UPS) in Depok City to reduce the amount of waste transported to the Cipayung Final Disposal Site (TPA). The research was conducted at three UPS under the supervision of the Depok City Environmental and Sanitation Office (DLHK), namely UPS Jalan Jawa, UPS Sukatani, and UPS Merdeka 1. Performance evaluation was carried out by analyzing management effectiveness and efficiency. The results show that waste processing at UPS generally involves transportation from the source, sorting, shredding, composting, sieving, and packaging.The findings indicate that the three UPS have met most of the established criteria, although some aspects require improvement. The data reveals that UPS Merdeka 1 has the best performance among the three analyzed UPS, with a waste reduction rate of 0.81%, followed by UPS Jalan Jawa at 0.79%, and UPS Sukatani at 0.67%. Regarding compost quality, UPS Jalan Jawa meets 8 out of 11 parameters, UPS Sukatani meets 6 out of 11 parameters, while data for UPS Merdeka 1 is unavailable, necessitating further evaluation of compost product results. These three UPS demonstrate good design implementation, each meeting 9 out of 10 parameters set by the PUPR Ministerial Regulation No. 3 of 2013 and Depok City Regulation No. 13 of 2018. UPS Merdeka 1 also excels in design capacity fulfillment at 54.28%, followed by UPS Jalan Jawa at 53.20%, and UPS Sukatani at 46.45%. In terms of human resources, UPS Merdeka 1 has the highest number of workers (13 people), followed by UPS Jalan Jawa (11 workers) and UPS Sukatani (10 workers). This study concludes that waste management at UPS in Depok City has been functioning well, but further improvements are needed in terms of location placement and compost quality enhancement. UPS Merdeka 1 demonstrates the most efficient and effective performance in waste processing, followed by UPS Jalan Jawa, while UPS Sukatani has areas needing improvement, particularly in waste reduction and compost quality."

"Penelitian ini membahas timbulan dan komposisi sampah rumah tangga pada Kampung Maruga, Tangerang Selatan sebagai dasar usulan desain Tempat Pengolahan Sampah Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (TPS 3R) terintegrasi Bank Sampah pada kawasan ini. Metode yang digunakan yaitu SNI 19-3964-1994 tentang Metode Pengambilan dan Pengukuran Contoh Timbulan dan Komposisi Sampah Perkotaan. Hasil penelitian menyatakan jumlah timbulan sampah saat ini mencapai 0,39 kg/orang/hari. Komposisi sampah rumah tangga di Kampung Maruga terdiri dari 65,8% organik yang berasal dari sisa makanan dan sampah kebun, 11,5% plastik, 9,2% kertas, 3,5% tekstil, 3% adsorbent (pamper dan pembalut), 2,8% logam, 1% kaca, 0,8% kayu, 0,6% limbah B3, 0,4% karet, 0,2% limbah elektronik, 0,1% styrofoam, dan 1% lainnya. Tempat Pengolahan Sampah 3R terintegrasi bank sampah didesain dengan kapasitas 0,835 ton/hari atau 7,7 m3/hari. Total luas minimum desain unit pengolahan sampah mencapai 255 m2 yang terdiri dari area bank sampah, area pencacahan, area pengomposan, area pengayakan, area penyimpanan, kantor, gudang, kamar mandi, balai serbaguna dan lahan berkebun.

This study focuses ini the household solid waste generation and composition at Kampung Maruga, Tangerang Selatan for the basis of design Material Recovery Facility Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (MRF 3R) with the integration of Waste Bank in this area. The method which being used is SNI 19-3964-1994 on Methods of Sample Collection and Measurement and The Composition of Urban Waste. The results stated the solid waste currently are 0,39 kg/person/day. The composition of household waste in Kampung Maruga consist of 65,8% organic which is come from food scraps and yard waste, 11,5% plastic, 9,2% paper, 3,5% textil, 3% adsorbent (pampers and band), 2,8% metal, 1% glass, 0,8% wood, 0,6% hazardous waste, 0,4% rubber, 0,2% electronic waste, 0,1% styrofoam, and the other 1%. Material recovery facility with the integration of waste bank is designed with a capacity of 0,835 ton/day or 7,7 m3/day. Total area minimum of material recovery facility design reaches 255 m2 consisting of a waste bank area, enumeration area, composting area, screening area, storage area, office area, toilet, multi purpose couch and plantation area.
