"Evaluasi/audit kinerja K3 adalah suatu metode sistematis untuk mengevaluasi sistem manajemen keselamatan perusahaan. Tugas utama audit adalah untuk menentukan apakah metode keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja yang digunakan sudah tepat dan dijalankan secara efektif. Evaluasi kinerja K3 pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Diekemper & Spartz (D&S) yang dilakukan pada PT. XYZ, salah satu perusahaan kimia di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran pengelolaan SMK3 di PT. XYZ saat ini, mengevaluasi kinerja pengelolaan SMK3 PT. XYZ dengan menggunakan metode D&S dan memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan yang dapat diterapkan oleh perusahaan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi. Nilai akhir yang didapat adalah 87.9 yang berarti pengelolaan K3 di PT. XYZ sudah mencapai tingkatan baik. Mayoritas semua indikator dari metode audit D&S menunjukan nilai baik (tingkat 3) dan nilai sempurna (tingkat 4).

Evaluation/audit the performance of OHS is a systematic method to evaluate the company's safety management system. The main task of the audit is to determine whether the safety and health methods used, are appropriate and effectively implemented. The method for evaluation the performance of OHS in this study using Diekemper & Spartz (D & S) which is conducted at PT. XYZ, one of the chemical companies in Indonesia. This study aims to get an overview of SMK3 management of PT. XYZ today, evaluating performance of OHS management PT. XYZ by using the method of D & S and provide recommendations for improvements that can be implemented by the company based on the results of the evaluation. The final value obtained is 87.9, which means that OHS managemen has reached a good level. The majority of all indicators of the D & S audit method show at good value (level 3) and a perfect score (level 4)."
