"Wilayah Probolinggo di Jawa Timur memiliki perbedaan musim kering dan musim basah yang jelas antara dataran rendah dan pegunungan. Penerapan metode de Boer, Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI), dan Hari Tanpa Hujan (HTH) dalam penentuan kekeringan di Probolinggo akan diperbandingkan secara keruangan berbasis data hujan dari 55 lokasi periode 1990-2015. Melalui teknik overlay peta dan perbandingan luas, pola spasial wilayah kekeringan dari ketiga metode dibandingkan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan metode de Boer dan HTH menampilkan pola keruangan kekeringan yang bergerak dari dataran rendah ke pegunungan. Tingkat kekeringan menurut metode de Boer sebanding dengan tingkat kekeringan SPI, namun lebih basah dibandingkan tingkat kekeringan menurut metode HTH. Kekeringan menurut metode de Boer lebih sesuai dianalisis berdasarkan ketinggian, angin dan arah hadapan lereng dibandingkan dengan metode SPI dan HTH.......Regions Probolinggo in East Java having clear difference between the dry and wet seasons on the lowlands and the mountains. Implementation of the methods of the de Boer, Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI), and No Rain Days (NRD) in the determination of drought in Porbolinggo will be compared based on spatial rainfall data from 55 locations periode from 1990 until 2015. The spatial pattern of drought of the dryness methods are compared by overlay maps techniques and size of the regions. The spatial result analysis of the method de Boer and NRD showed the drought move from the lowlands up to the mountains. The level of dryness of the de Boer is comparable to the SPI drought, but more wetter than the method of drought NRD. Drought is more appropriate analysed based on the elevation, wind direction and toward front slopes according to the de Boer method than methods of SPI and NRD."
