Abstrak :
Hipertensi masih menjadi masalah utama di dunia, baik di negara maju maupun di negara-negara berkembang dan menurut WHO hipertensi merupakan penyebab nomor 1 kematian di dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk identifikasi terbentuknya model dan teridentifikasi efektifitas model keperawatan mandiri keluarga dengan klien hipertensi. Desain penelitian menggunakan operasional riset yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu : tahap pertama penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan desain kualitatif fenomenologi dengan 22 partisipan, tahap kedua pengembangan model dan tahap ketiga uji coba model dengan menggunakan quasi eksperiment Non-Randomized Control Group Pre Test Post Test Design dengan 120 klien hipertensi dan keluarga (intervensi) dan 120 klien hipertensi dan keluarga (kontrol). Hasil penelitian tahap pertama didapatkan empat tema yaitu persepsi tentang hipertensi, akibat hipertensi, upaya mengatasi hipertensi dan sistem pendukung penanganan hipertensi. Tahap kedua diperoleh model keperawatan mandiri keluarga dengan klien hipertensi. Hasil penelitian tahap ketiga menunjukkan bahwa model keperawatan mandiri keluarga dengan klien hipertensi efektif meningkatkan PENSIKU serta meningkatkan kemampuan klien hipertensi dan keluarga dalam melaksanakan 5-M perawatan hipertensi. Hasil peneitian juga menunjukkan bahwa model keperawatan mandiri keluarga dengan klien hipertensi efektif menurunkan tekanan darah klien hipertensi. Rekomendasi bagi pelayanan keperawatan agar model keperawatan mandiri keluarga dengan klien hipertensi ini dapat diimplementasikan di seluruh wilayah kerja puskesmas. ......Hypertension is still a major problem and is the first cause of death in the world today. This study aims to develop and test the effectiveness of family independent nursing models with hypertensive clients. The research design uses operational research which has three stages, namely exploratory research with phenomenological qualitative design on 22 participants, model development and, model testing using a quasi-experimental Non-Randomized Control Group Pre Test Post Test Design on 120 hypertensive clients and 120 families. The results of the first stage of the study obtained four themes (perceptions of hypertension, the impact of hypertension, efforts to overcome hypertension and, support systems for handling hypertension). The results of the second stage are the formation of a family independent nursing model with hypertensive clients and in the third stage, the effectiveness of the model is known in increasing knowledge, attitudes, behavior and abilities of hypertensive clients and their families in implementing hypertension care using the family health task approach. The effectiveness of this model is also indicated by a decrease in blood pressure in hypertensive clients in the family. This model is recommended to be implemented in all Public health center work areas so that indicators of healthy families related to hypertension control can be achieved.
