"Gamma Valerolakton (GVL) merupakan senyawa organik turunan dari asam levulinat yang memiliki banyak kegunaan, salah satunya sebagai bahan tambahan bahan bakar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan model kinetika hidrogenasi asam levulinat (LA) menjadi GVL dengan katalis Ru/C. Percobaan dilakukan dalam reaktor trickle bed untuk mendapatkan parameter kinetika dan pengaruh tekanan dan temperatur terhadap kinerja reaksi hidrogenasi asam levulinat menjadi GVL di dalam reaktor trickle bed. Model matematis reaktor trickle bed digunakan untuk pengarahan di atas. Katalis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Ru/C dengan muatan Ru 5wt%. Eksperimen diawali dengan persiapan bahan baku, dilanjutkan dengan karakterisasi katalis. Pada penelitian ini reaktor yang digunakan berdiameter 2,01 cm dengan tinggi unggun katalis 24 cm. Asam levulinat sebagai reaktan cair dan gas hidrogen direaksikan dengan kondisi operasi tekanan 2,5 dan 7,5 bar serta suhu pada rentang 90 °C-150 °C. Model dari penelitian ini adalah model isotermal heterogen 2D aksisimetri (isotermal tepat di sekitar sumbu simetri), yang mempertimbangkan perpindahan massa fase gas dan cair di celah unggun, di dalam katalis, dan reaksi kimia. Model kinetik dikembangkan melalui persamaan kesetimbangan massa dan kesetimbangan momentum (hukum Darcy) dalam penelitian ini berdasarkan mekanisme reaksi yang dikemukakan oleh Piskun. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian adalah energi aktivasi hidrogenasi asam levulinat, reaksi maju esterifikasi HPA, dan reaksi balik esterifikasi HPA adalah 6,261 kJ/mol, 3,412 kJ/mol, dan 1,251 kJ/ mol, masing-masing. Nilai faktor tumbukan berturut-turut adalah 1,367 m3/mol/s, 1,955 m3/mol/s, dan 0,108 m3/mol/s. Nilai korelasi Goto-Smith adalah 9,833, 1,922, dan 1,414. Pada analisis pengaruh suhu, semakin tinggi suhu umpan maka konversi asam levulinat menjadi GVL semakin besar. Sedangkan pada analisis pengaruh tekanan,  terlihat bahwa efek tekanan tidak terlalu berpengaruh dalam konversi asam levulinat menjadi GVL.
......Gamma Valerolactone (GVL) is an organic compound derived from levulinic acid, which has many uses, one of which is as a fuel additive. This research was conducted to obtain a kinetic model of the hydrogenation of levulinic acid (LA) to GVL using a Ru/C catalyst. Experiments were carried out in a trickle bed reactor to obtain kinetic parameters and the effect of pressure and temperature on the performance of the hydrogenation reaction of levulinic acid to GVL in the trickle bed reactor. The mathematical model of the trickle bed reactor is used for the above purpose. The catalyst used in this study was Ru/C with a 5wt% Ru charge. The experiment begins with preparing raw materials, followed by characterization of the catalyst. In this study, the reactor was 2.01 cm in diameter with a catalyst bed height of 24 cm. Levulinic acid as a liquid reactant and hydrogen gas was reacted under operating conditions of a pressure of 2.5 and 7.5 bar and a temperature of 90°C-150°C. The model of this research is an axisymmetric 2D heterogeneous isothermal model (isothermal right around the axis of symmetry), which considers the mass transfer of gas and liquid phases in the bed gap, inside the catalyst, and chemical reactions. The kinetic model was developed through the equations of mass balance and momentum balance (Darcy's law) in this study based on the reaction mechanism proposed by Piskun. The activation energies of levulinic acid hydrogenation, the forward reaction of HPA esterification, and the reverse reaction of HPA esterification are 6.261 kJ/mol, 3.412 kJ/mol, and 1.251 kJ/mol, respectively. The collision factor values are 1.367 m3/mol/s, 1.955 m3/mol/s and 0.108 m3/mol/s respectively. The Goto-Smith correlation values are 9.833, 1.922, and 1.414. In the analysis of the effect of temperature, the higher the feed temperature, the greater the conversion of levulinic acid to GVL. Meanwhile, in the analysis of the effect of pressure, it appears that the effect of pressure is not too influential in the conversion of levulinic acid to GVL."

"Untuk mengatasi COVID-19, vaksin perlu didistribusikan secara masif dan cepat. Pada kenyataannya, ditemukan beberapa permasalahan dalam pendistribusian vaksin COVID-19, antara lain manajemen pemesanan yang tidak efisien, birokrasi yang memakan waktu, dan ketinggalan penerbangan yang berujung pada penarikan vaksin ke pusat distribusi. Manajemen rantai pasokan memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan efisiensi distribusi vaksin COVID-19. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk merancang peningkatan distribusi outbound vaksin COVID-19 di Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kinerja logistik menggunakan Business Process Reengineering. Observasi dilakukan untuk memperoleh data primer penelitian ini, dan waktu diperoleh dari data historis. Proses tersebut dipetakan menggunakan Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) dan disimulasikan menggunakan software iGrafx. Kajian ini menghasilkan peningkatan radikal pada distribusi outbound vaksin COVID-19, yang mengubah waktu proses dari 74,57 jam menjadi 35,81 jam, dengan penerapan Sistem Informasi dengan Integrasi API, QR Code, dan teknologi Sign on Glass.
......To tackle COVID-19, the vaccine needs to be distributed massively and rapidly. In reality, some problems are found in COVID-19 vaccine distribution, including inefficient order management, time-consuming bureaucracy, and missed flights that lead to the withdrawal of vaccines to the distribution center. Supply chain management plays a significant role in ensuring the distribution efficiency of the COVID-19 vaccine. This paper aims to design the improved outbound distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine in Indonesia to increase logistics performance using Business Process Reengineering. Observation is conducted to gain primary data of this research, and time is obtained from historical data. The process is mapped using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and simulated using iGrafx software. This study results in a radical improvement of the COVID-19 vaccines' outbound distribution, which changes the process time from 74,57 hours to 35,81 hours, with implementation Information Sistem with API Integration, QR Code, and Sign on Glass technology."

"Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk desain prosthesis khusus pada kasus pasien yang terkena chordoma bagian tulang belakang lumbar 4, lumbar 5 dan tulang ekor. Chordoma merupakan salah satu golongan jenis kanker ganas dan langka, yang biasa ditemukan pada tulang belakang atau tulang tengkorak. Sebagai metode pengobatannya jika kanker belum menyebar keluar tulang, prosedur pengangkatan tulang yang terinfeksi dilakukan dan digantikan dengan sebuah tulang buatan (prosthesis). Metode perancangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan CT Scan data pasien, yang diolah menjadi model 3D dengan software Materialise Mimics, rekayasa 3D model dilanjutkan dengan menggunakan software Solidworks dan simulasi dengan ANSYS. Proses perancangan dilakukan dengan beberapa macam variasi desain, diantaranya model implan tulang dengan solid dan shell model yang terbagi menjadi beberapa komponen, penggunaan iliac screw lateral connector, modifikasi iliac screw locking head dan modifikasi iliac screw locking head dengan cross connector. Dari hasil analisa perhitungan dan simulasi konsep terbaik yang terpilih yaitu dengan nilai Peak von Mises Stress dominan terendah pada bagian iliac screw diantara jenis desain yang lain adalah desain dengan menggunakan locking head iliac screw yang menggunakan implan shell model lattice structure.
......This study focused on the design of specific prosthesis in the case of patients affected by chordoma of the lumbar 4, lumbar 5 and coccyx of the spine. Chordoma is a group of types of malignant and rare cancers, commonly found in the spine or skull bones. As a method of treatment, if the cancer has not spread beyond the bone, the removal procedure is carried out and replaced with an artificial bone (prosthesis). The design method is carried out using CT Scan of patient data, which is processed into a 3D model with Materialise Mimics software, 3D model engineering is continued using Solidworks software and simulation with ANSYS. The design process is carried out with several kinds of design variations, including the bone implant model with a solid and shell model which is divided into several components, the use of iliac screw lateral connector, modification of iliac screw locking head and modification of iliac screw locking head with cross connector. From the analysis results of calculation and simulation the best concept chosen is the Peak von Mises Stress value which is the lowest dominant in the iliac screw section among other types of designs is the design using the iliac screw locking head with implant shell model lattice structure."

"Reaktor terstruktur gauze digunakan sebagai solusi dari masalah yang ditemukan pada penggunaan reaktor fixed bed untuk reaksi dekomposisi katalitik metana. Reaktor terstruktur gauze memiliki beberapa kelebihan, yaitu memiliki pressure drop yang rendah dan konversi lebih tinggi.
Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pemodelan dan simulasi reaktor terstruktur gauze menggunakan Computational Fluid Dynamics yang mengacu pada kinetika Snoeck, 1997. Pemodelan hanya mempertimbangkan neraca massa dan momentum, di mana reaktor diasumsikan bersifat isotermal.
Simulasi dilakukan dengan mengubah-ubah variabel proses seperti temperatur reaktor, komposisi masukkan, tekanan masukkan, dan kecepatan masuk. Melalui simulasi variasi proses, dapat diketahui pengaruh perubahan kondisi operasi terhadap kinerja reaktor, seperti pada kenaikan temperatur akan menyebabkan konversi reaktor semakin meningkat.
......Gauze structured reactors are used as the solution of problems found in the use of fixed bed reactor for reaction of catalytic decompotition methane. Gauze structured reactor has several advantages, having a low pressure drop and higher conversion.
In this study, the modeling and simulation of structured gauze reactor using Computational Fluid Dynamics refers to the kinetic Snoeck, 1997. Modelling only consider the mass balance and momentum, where the reactor is assumed to be isothermal.
Simulations carried out by varying process variables such as reactor temperature, inlet composition, inlet pressure and inlet velocity. Through the simulation process variations, we can know the effect of changing operating conditions on reactor performance, such as the rise in temperature will cause the reactor conversion increases."
