"Properties of air flow passing out from rotary desiccant dehumidifier can be analyzed by either experimental or theoretical method in this case an experiment method was selected using Lithium Chloride (LiCl) as a desiccant. The flow rate of air at the input is varying for process air and regeneration air, and the moisture content at process air input also adjusted by using a water sprayer.
The data consisting of dry and wet bulb temperature of air is to be collected in order to find wet air properties, and flow rate of wet air flowing through the humidifier. The result of this experiment gives curves denoting properties of the outlet process air at the room temperature of 25°C These curves then can be used as a comparable data for characteristics of various dehumidifiers.

"Pengeringan sampah dengan metode biodrying menjadi metode yang menarik bagi pengelolaan sampah dan kebutuhan energi. Dengan menggunakan panas yang dihasilkan dari proses biodegradasi, kadar air pada sampah dapat dikurangi. Sampah organik dengan kadar air yang rendah dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai energi berupa refused derived fuel. Pada penelitian ini, menggunakan komposisi sampah organik 50 dari daun kering, 35 dari sampah sayur dan 15 sisa makanan, dikeringkan didalam kondisi aerobik dengan variasi airflow-rate sebesar 8L/mnt.kg, 10L/mnt.kg dan 12L/mnt.kg. Percobaan menggunakan 3 reaktor berbahan Styrofoam dengan ukuran 70cm x 50cm x 40cm. Proses biodrying berjalan selama 21 hari dengan hasil akhir, airflow-rate sebesar 10L/mnt.kg dipilih karena dapat menurunkan kadar air hingga 21,15 dengan suhu maksimum 63,3?C dan menghasilkan nilai kalor sekitar 3595,29 kcal/kg.

The process of bio drying could be an interesting solution for municipal solid waste management and energy demand in Indonesia. By using the heat from bio degradation process consists in bio drying, moisture content in solid waste can be reduce. Solid wastes with a low moisture content, could be used as a fuel with a good energy content. In this study, 85 of garden wastes and 15 of food waste from Indonesia rsquo s municipal solid waste were bio dried in aerobic condition using 3 variations of air flow rates, which were 8 L min.kg 10 L min.kg and 12 L min.kg. The experiment perform with three different reactors with known volume 75cm x 50cm x 40cm and using Styrofoam as an insulation. Process of bio drying lasted 21 days. In the end, the experiment with 10 L min.kg aeration, has the lowest moisture contents about 23 with high temperature and NHV about 3595.29 kcal kg.
