"Tren peningkatan market pada industri FMCG menyebabkan meningkatnya volume barang yang harus dikirim ke pelanggan. Seiring meningkatnya volume pengiriman barang, maka dibutuhkan pula aktivitas logistik yang besar. Namun dengan biaya logistik yang tinggi, membuat perusahaan harus meningkatkan efisiensi untuk dapat terus bersaing dalam industri nasional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perencanaan aktivitas outbound logistik yang mengatur pergerakan finished goods dari pabrik hingga sampai ke pelanggan. Penelitian ini mengembangkan model matematis untuk meminimalkan biaya outbound logistik dengan metode mixed integer linear programming dan diterjemahkan ke dalam bentuk model komputer dengan bahasa pemrograman Lingo 17.0. Biaya outbound logistik mencakup biaya penyimpanan, biaya bongkar muat, biaya truk, dan biaya shuttle. Hasil dari penelitian 12 periode ini yaitu didapatkan total biaya outbound logistik yang menurun jika dibandingkan dengan total biaya outbound logistik sebelumnya dengan rata-rata penurunan mencapai 39,76% untuk setiap periodenya. Selain itu, model ini juga menunjukkan peningkatan penggunaan tipe truk dengan kapasitas besar sehingga jumlah truk menurun dengan rata-rata penurunan mencapai 39,10% untuk setiap periodenya dan utilisasi truk meningkat dengan rata-rata peningkatan mencapai 15,21% untuk setiap periodenya. ......The increasing market trend in the FMCG industry causes an increase in the volume of goods that must be sent to customers. Along with the increase in the volume of shipping goods, it is also required a greater logistics activities. However, with high logistics costs, companies must increase efficiency to be able compete in the global market. Therefore, it is necessary to plan outbound logistics activities that regulate the movement of finished goods from the factory to the customers. This study developed a mathematical model to minimize outbound logistics costs based on mixed integer linear programming approach and translated into computer model using Lingo 17.0 programming language. Outbound logistics costs include storage costs, loading and unloading costs, truck costs, and shuttle costs. The results of this 12-period study showed that the total outbound logistics costs decreased when compared to the previous total outbound logistics costs with an average of 39.76% for each period. In addition, this model also shows an increase usage of large capacity trucks so that the number of trucks decreases by an average of 39.10% for each period and truck utilization increases with an average of 15.21% for each period."

"Industri poultry merupakan salah satu industri di Indonesia yang memiliki fokus dalam ayam potong. Industri poultry mengalami kenaikan dalam permintaan dan untuk menjamin ketersediaan pasokan dan stabilisasi daging ayam ras diperlukan harga acuan yang mempertimbangkan harga pengiriman. Salah satu perusahaan industri poultry memiliki proses outbound logistics yang terdiri dari pengiriman dan penyimpanan. Pada bulan Oktober hingga Desember 2022, terjadi peningkatan permintaan dan juga biaya outbound logistics, dimana outbound logistics sendiri memiliki dua biaya yaitu biaya pengiriman dan biaya penyimpanan. Biaya Outbound logistics yang tinggi disebabkan oleh pemilihan dan perencanaan kendaraan yang masih belum optimal. Sehingga  diperlukan optimasi perencanaan outbound logistics yang lebih baik lagi. Penelitian ini melakukan pengembangan model optimasi untuk mengurangi biaya outbound logistics dengan metode mixed integer linear programming (MILP) menggunakan perangkat lunak LINGO. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa total biaya outbound logistics memiliki penurunan dari Rp451.364.739 menjadi Rp246.817.288. Penggunaan kendaraan juga mengalami penurunan dari 229 unit menjadi 89 unit. Sedangkan utilisasi kendaraan mengalami kenaikan dari 69% menjadi 96%.......The poultry industry is one of the industries in Indonesia that has a focus on broiler chickens. The poultry industry has experienced an increase in demand and to ensure the availability of supply and stabilization of chicken meat, a reference price is needed that takes into account the shipping price. One of the poultry industry companies has an outbound logistics process which consists of shipping and storage. From October to December 2022, there was an increase in demand and also outbound logistics cost, where outbound logistics itself has two costs, namely shipping costs and storage costs. The high outbound logistics costs are caused by the selection and planning of vehicles that are still not optimal. So better optimization of outbound logistics planning is needed. This research develops an optimization model to reduce outbound logistics costs using the mixed integer linear programming (MILP) method using LINGO software. The results of the study show that the total cost of outbound logistics has decreased from IDR 451,364,739 to IDR 246,817,288. The use of vehicles also decreased from 229 units to 89 units. Meanwhile, vehicle utilization increased from 69% to 96%."

Harga pakan yang terus melonjak memerlukan terobosan untuk alternatif dalam menekan harga bahan pakan dengan sumber protein yang tinggi. Industri Black Soldier Fly (BSF) memiliki potensi yang cukup besar sebagai alternatif pakan ternak di Indonesia. Dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pengiriman produknya yang besar, maka sektor BSF juga memerlukan aktivitas outbound logistics yang besar. Biaya outbound logistics yang tinggi disebabkan karena perencanaan pengiriman yang belum optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan optimasi untuk perencanaan outbound logistics yang mengatur pergerakan barang dari gudang hingga sampai ke customer. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengembangkan model matematis untuk meminimasi biaya outbound logistics dengan metode Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) menggunakan software LINGO 18.0. Biaya outbound logistics tersebut terdiri dari biaya pengiriman dan biaya manajemen pergudangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 12 periode dari bulan September sampai dengan November tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dengan adanya penurunan biaya outbound logistics dari  Rp 219.624.000 menjadi  Rp 113.353.249. Dengan adanya keberhasilan penurunan total biaya outbound logistics menghasilkan peningkatan utilitas penggunaan kendaraan dari 44,96% menjadi 99,29% disertai penurunan jumlah penggunaan kendaraan dari 316 unit menjadi 95 unit.

Feed prices that continue to soar require alternative breakthroughs to reduce the price of feed ingredients with high protein sources. The Black Soldier Fly (BSF) industry has considerable potential as an alternative to animal feed in Indonesia. In meeting the needs of large product shipments, the BSF sector also requires large outbound logistics activities. The high cost of outbound logistics is caused by less than optimal delivery planning. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize outbound logistics planning which regulates the movement of goods from warehouses to customers. This research was conducted by developing a mathematical model to minimize outbound logistics costs using the Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) method using LINGO 18.0 software. Outbound logistics costs consist of shipping and warehousing management costs. This research was conducted for 12 periods from September to November 2022. The results were obtained by reducing outbound logistics costs from Rp 219.624.000 to Rp 113.353.249. The success of reducing the total cost of outbound logistics resulted in an increase in vehicle usage utility from 44,96% to 99,29% accompanied by a decrease in the number of vehicle usage from 316 vehicles to 95 vehicles.

Lebih dari setengah biaya suatu produk merupakan biaya untuk supply chain dan sebagian besar dipengaruhi oleh aktivitas outbound logistics. Penelitian ini berisi tentang pengembangan model optimasi untuk meminimalkan biaya outbound logistics menggunakan metode Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP). This research contains the development of optimization models to minimize outbound logistics costs using the Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) method. The results showed that the optimization model succeeded in reducing the total cost of outbound logistics with the decision of the shipping plan consisting of choosing the type of vehicle, the volume of the shipping load, the level of vehicle utilization, and the number of loading worker needs."
