"Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan masalah kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia. Kelurahan Paseban, Jakarta Pusat merupakan salah satu zona merah DBD pada bulan Maret 2009 sehingga perlu dilakukan pemberantasan vektor DBD, Aedes aegypti. Untuk dapat memberantas vektor DBD dengan tepat, perlu diketahui tempat berkembang biak, angka kepadatan dan penyebarannya. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva di container luar rumah di Paseban Barat dan Paseban Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2-3 Mei 2009. Penelitian berupa survei larva di 100 rumah di Paseban Barat dan Paseban Timur. Container luar rumah yang ditemukan dibagi berdasarkan wilayah Paseban. Data dianalisis menggunakan chi square’s test untuk mengetahui hubungan wilayah dengan keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti di container luar rumah. Dari 100 rumah yang disurvei di Paseban Barat didapatkan house index 12%, container index 5,98% dan breteau index sebesar 18 sedangkan dari 100 rumah di Paseban Timur didapatkan house index 27%, container index 15,04%, dan breteau index sebesar 40. Dari seluruh container luar rumah di Paseban Barat, hanya satu container yang positif larva sedangkan di Paseban Timur container yang positif larva sebanyak 14 buah. Pada chi square’s test didapatkan nilai p=0,000 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti di container luar rumah di Paseban Barat dan Paseban Timur. Disimpulkan bahwa kepadatan dan penyebaran vektor DBD di Paseban Timur lebih tinggi daripada Paseban Barat; dan keberadaan larva Ae.aegypti di container luar rumah di Paseban Timur lebih tinggi daripada Paseban Barat.
......Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a public health problem in Indonesia. Paseban District, Central Jakarta became a DHF red zone at March 2009 so that the DHF vector, Aedes aegypti, must be eradicated. In order to control the vector well; the breeding places, larval density and larval spreading must be known. The purpose of this study was to determine the existence of Ae.aegypti larvae in outdoor containers in West Paseban and East Paseban. This study did at 2-3 May 2009. It was a larvae survey in 100 houses in each West Paseban and East Paseban. The outdoor containers were divided into two categories based on Paseban area, West Paseban outdoor containers and East Paseban outdoor containers. The data were analyzed by chi square’s test to know the correlation between Paseban area and the existence of Ae.aegypti larvae in outdoor containers. From 100 houses surveyed in West Paseban, the house index was 12%, the container index was 5,98% and the breteau index was 18. From 100 houses surveyed in East Paseban, the house index was 27%, the container index was 15,04% and the breteau index was 40. From all outdoor containers found, there was one larval positive container in West Paseban and there were fourteen larval positive containers in East Paseban. From chi square’s test, the p = 0,000 which means there is correlation between Paseban area and the existence of Ae.aegypti larvae in outdoor containers. The conclusions were the larval density and larval spreading in East Paseban was higher than West Paseban; and the the existence of Ae.aegypti larvae in outdoor containers in East Paseban was higher than West Paseban."

"Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit yang menjadi masalah kesehatan di DKI Jakarta, salah satunya di kelurahan Paseban. Pemberantasan DBD hanya dapat dilakukan dengan memberantas vektornya. Oleh karena itu, untuk merencanakan pemberantasan vektor DBD, maka diadakan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat. Setelah diadakan penyuluhan, dilakukan lagi survei untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva Aedes aegypti. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberadaan larva Aedes aegypti berdasarkan volume air container setelah penyuluhan demam berdarah dengue. Survei dilakukan pada tanggal 21 Juni 2009 di Paseban Barat. Pengambilan data dilakukan di 100 rumah dengan single-larval method, yaitu mengambil satu larva di setiap container lalu diidentifikasi menggunakan mikroskop. Container kemudian dikategorikan menjadi 2 kelompok, yaitu kelompok container dengan volume air < 1 liter dan container dengan volume air > 1 liter. Data container yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square untuk mengetahui hubungan volume air container dengan keberadaan larva Aedes aegypti. Dari 100 rumah yang diteliti didapatkan house index sebesar 11%, container index 4,3%, dan breteau index 14. Tingkat penyebaran DBD di Kelurahan Paseban termasuk tinggi, dilihat dari angka house index yang lebih tinggi dari 10%. Sebagian besar larva ditemukan pada container dengan volume air < 1 liter yaitu 9 container, sedangkan container dengan volume air > 1 liter 5 container. Dari uji chi-square, didapat nilai p sebesar 0,046, yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara keberadaan larva dengan volume air container. Disimpulkan bahwa keberadaan larva Aedes aegypti berhubungan dengan volume air container.
......Dengue Haemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is considered as one of major public health problem in DKI Jakarta, including Paseban village. The control of dengue can only be done by eradicating the vector, Aedes aegypti. Therefore, to plan the eradication of dengue vector, the health education is required. After the health education, the survey should be conducted to determine the presence or larvae Aedes aegypti. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence of Aedes larvae aegypti according to the water volume of the container based on a survey conducted on 21 June 2009 in West Paseban which is one of the areas with high dengue cases in Central Jakarta. The data carried in 100 homes with a single-larval method, which took a larva in each container and then identified them using a microscope. Container then categorized into 2 groups, container with water volume ≤ 1 litre and container with water volume > 1 litre. Data were collected and analyzed using chi-square test to determine the association between the existence of Aedes aegypti larvae and the water volume of container. From the surveyed house, the house index was 11%, container index was 4,3%, and breateu index was 14. The DHF spread in Paseban village is considered high because the house index exceed 10%. Most of the larvaes were found in container with water volume < 1 litre 9 container, compared to container with water volume > 1 litre only 5 container. From the chi-square test analysis, we found that p count is 0,046, which means there is meaningful association. We conclude that there is association between the existence of Aedes aegypti larvae with the water volume of container."

"Demam berdarah dengue (DBD) dikenal sebagai salah satu masalah kesehatan masyarakat yang dijumpai di Indonesia antara lain di Kelurahan Paseban, Jakarta Pusat sehingga perlu diberantas dengan melakukan pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN). Agar PSN berhasil maka warga perlu diberikan pengetahuan mengenai PSN dengan diberikan penyuluhan. Penelitian ini diselenggarakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan terhadap kepadatan vektor DBD di Paseban Barat. Desain penelitian ini adalah eksperimental dengan intervensi berupa penyuluhan. Keberhasilan penyuluhan kemudian dievaluasi dengan melakukan survei entomologi. Pengambilan data dilakukan dalam dua tahap di Paseban Barat, Kelurahan Paseban, Kecamatan Senen, Jakarta Pusat pada bulan Mei 2009 (pretest) dan Juni 2009 (posttest). Survei dilakukan dengan single larval method pada 100 rumah. Hasilnya menunjukkan container index (CI) dan breteau index (BI) sebelum penyuluhan adalah 6,3% dan 16, dan sesudah penyuluhan menurun menjadi 3,1% dan 8. Selanjutnya, indikator kepadatan yaitu CI dianalisis dengan uji Mc Nemar dan didapatkan p = 0,152 yang berarti tidak terdapat perbedaan bermakna. Disimpulkan penyuluhan tidak mempengaruhi kepadatan Ae.aegypti.
......Dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a health problem in Indonesia, especially in Kelurahan Paseban, Jakarta Pusat. Therefore, we need to control DHF by performing mosquito vector control. In order to perform mosquito vector control properly, the people were given health promotion. This study aims to determine the effect of health promotion to the change of dengue vector’s density in Paseban Barat and uses experimental method with heath promotion as the intervention. To evaluate the success of given health promotion, entomology surveys are conducted before and after the health education. The data collection was conducted in Paseban Barat, Kelurahan Paseban, Kecamatan Senen, Jakarta Pusat in May 2009 (pretest) and June 2009 (posttest). Surveys were conducted in 100 houses by using single larval method. The results shows that the container index (CI) and breteau index (BI) before health promotion were 6.3% and 16, respectively, and after health promotion, CI and BI decreased to 3.1% and 8. CI as the indicator of dengue vector’s density was analyzed using Mc Nemar test and the result is p = 0.152 which shows no significant difference. It is concluded that the given health promotion had no effect on dengue vector’s density."
