Abstrak :
Penelitian dampak penetrasi impor terhadap produktifitas industri umumnya dilakukan pada indusri yang mempunyai keunggulan komparatif. Dengan mengambil studi kasus galangan kapal, penelitian ini bermaksud mengkaji dampak peningkatan impor kapal terhadap produktifitas industri galangan kapal sebagai industri yang tidak mempunyai keunggulan komparatif. Dengan menggunakan data time series dari 1975 - 2012, disimpulkan bahwa penetrasi impor dan kebijakan perdagangan bebas dengan Cina berdampak negatif terhadap produktifitas industri galangan kapal. Namun, kebijakan pembebasan PPN dan asas caboage berdampak positif terhadap produktifitas indusri gakangan kapal kerena kebijakan ini meningkatkan permintaan kebutuhan kapal tanpa disertai peningkatan liberalisasi perdagangan. ......The research about import penetration impact on the productivity generally performed on industry which has a comparative advantage. With a case study of shipyard, this research intends to analyze the impact of increased import penetration towards productivity of shipbuilding industry as an industry that does not have a comparative advantage. By using time series data from 1975 to 2012, concluded that the import penetration and free trade policies with China have a negative impact on the productivity of the shipbuilding industry. However, the VAT exemption policies and principles cabotage have positive impact on the productivity of shipbuilding industry because they can increase demand for vessels without an increase in trade liberalization.

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk melihat pengaruh penetrasi impor mesin perkakas terhadap pertumbuhan sektor industri mesin perkakas di Indonesia dengan rentang waktu penelitian selama kurun waktu 1985 - 2014. Metodologi penelitian menggunakan metode Ordinary Least Square OLS . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan penetrasi impor berpengaruh negatif terhadap pertumbuhan sektor industri mesin perkakas di Indonesia.

ABSTRACT
This study analyses the impact of import penetration of machine tools to machine tools industrial sector growth in Indonesia using data from 1985 to 2014 period. The research methodology using Ordinary Least Square method OLS . The results shows that the increase penetration of import negatively affect to machine tools industrial sector growth in Indonesia.

Penetrasi impor akan mempunyai pengaruh terhadap Produktivitas tenaga kerja di Industri Manufaktur. Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh penetrasi impor terhadap Produktivitasi industri manufaktur Indonesia dengan menggunakan data panel industri besar dan sedang periode 2008 ndash; 2012. Keterbukaan pasar membawa dampak mudahnya barang impor masuk ke pasar domestik. Hadirnya barang substitusi dari impor menyebabkan produk industri kehilangan daya saing.
