"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat penggunaan ganja dan aspek-aspek fungsi psikososial (self-esteem, depresi, kecemasan, pengambilan keputusan, permusuhan, pengambilan risiko, konformitas dan masalah-masalah saat kecil). Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 120 orang pengguna ganja yang diperoleh melalui teknik accidental sampling. Pengukuran tingkat penggunaan ganja dilakukan dengan alat ukur The Cannabis Use Disorders Identification Test - Revised (CUDIT-R) (Adamson et al., 2010), sedangkan aspek-aspek fungsi psikososial diukur dengan TCU Psychosocial Functioning Scale (Knight et al., 1994). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara tingkat penggunaan ganja dan salah satu aspek fungsi psikososial, yaitu kecemasan (r=0.322; p=0.000, signifikan pada L.o.S 0.01). Akan tetapi, ditemukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat penggunaan ganja dan selfesteem, depresi, pengambilan keputusan, permusuhan, pengambilan risiko, konformitas serta masalah-masalah saat kecil.

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between level of cannabis use and aspects of psychosocial functioning (self-esteem, depression, anxiety, decision-making, hostility, risk-taking, conformity and childhood problems). This study conducted with quantitative approach to 120 cannabis users that acquired through accidental sampling technique. The level of cannabis use measured by The Cannabis Use Disorders Identification Test - Revised (CUDIT-R) (Adamson et al., 2010), while the aspects of psychosocial functioning measured by TCU Psychosocial Functioning Scale (Knight et al., 1994).

Result indicated that there was a significant positive correlation between level of cannabis use and anxiety (r = 0322; p = 0.000, significant at the L.o.S. 0.01). However, it was found that there was no significant correlation between level of cannabis use and self-esteem, depression, decision-making, hostility, risk-taking, conformity and childhood problems."

Penelitian inimengambil sampel di salah satu universitas di Jakarta Selatan, dengan menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel Stratified Random Sampling yang merupakan teknik pengambilan sampel probabilita, sampel dari penelitian ini adalah mereka yang memiliki pengalaman menggunakan ganja maupun yang tidak. This thesis consist an explanatory research to discover the connection between perception of risk towards the use of marijuana among the students of x university.
