"Perancangan yang holistik untuk auditorium menjadi penting sebagai usaha menekan dampak negatif dari potensi bahaya kebakaran. Kebakaran sebagai bahaya laten sering disepelekan mengingat peluang terjadinya yang rendah. Konfigurasi ruang auditorium adalah salah satu aspek perancangan yang secara pasif mempengaruhi manusia saat mengevakuasi diri dari bencana kebakaran. Perancangan konfigurasi ruang auditorium yang baik akan berdampak positif pada proses pengumpulan informasi saat terjadi kebakaran hingga proses evakuasinya itu sendiri. Lebih jauh, konfigurasi ruang auditorium yang baik dapat menekan dampak negaif dari bencana kebakaran. Skripsi ini lebih jauh membahas peran dan relasi antara rancangan konfigurasi ruang auditorium dengan manusia di dalamnya. Baik pergerakannya saat kebakaran, kondisi psikis manusia, maupun pengaruh terhadap evakuasinya itu sendiri. Oleh sebab itu kajian ini dirasa penting untuk dilakukan perihal konfigurasi ruang auditorium guna menemukan konfigurasi terbaik yang dapat mendukung proses evakuasi supaya lebih optimal.......The holistic design of the auditorium is important as an effort to reduce the negative impact of potential fire hazards. Fires as latent hazards are often underestimated given the chance of low occurrence. The configuration of auditorium in one aspect of design that passively affects humans when evacuating themselves from fire disasters. The design of a good auditorium configuration will have a positive impact on the process of gathering information during fire until the evacuation process itself. Furthermore, a good configuration of the auditorium can reduce the negative impact of the disaster. This thesis further discusses the role and relation between the design configuration of the auditorium space with human in it. Both movements during fire, human psychological condition, as well as the effect on evacuation itself. Therefore this study is considered important to do regarding the configuration of the auditorium to find the best configuration that can support the evacuation process to be more optimal."
