"Hipertensi sebagai beban kesehatan paling besar dan terabaikan di dunia membutuhkan upaya kontrol salah satunya kepatuhan minum obat. Perilaku kepatuhan minum obat dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh faktor persepsi sehat terhadap kepatuhan minum obat hipertensi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional kepada 110 responden penderita hipertensi dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan yang signifikan antara varibel persepsi sehat dengan kepatuhan minum obat  pada penderita hipertensi dengan p value 0,204. Pada penelitian selanjutnya, perlu diteliti terkait faktor-faktor yang menghambat kepatuhan minum obat penderita hipertensi.
......Hypertension as the biggest and most neglected health burden in the world requires control efforts, one of which is medication adherence. Medication adherence behavior can be influenced by various factors. This study aims to examine the influence of perceived health factors on hypertension medication adherence. This study was an analytic observational study with cross-sectional approach to 110 respondents with hypertension and was analyzed with the chi-square test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between health perception and medication adherence among hypertensive patient with  p value 0,204. In future research, it is necessary to examine the factors that hinder medication adherence in hypertensive patient."

"Di masa pandemi COVID-19, swamedikasi menjadi isu kesehatan yang meningkat. Salah satu populasi terdampak yaitu mahasiswa. Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan peningkatan pencarian informasi swamedikasi pada mahasiswa. Situasi pandemi COVID-19 juga dapat menyebabkan perubahan persepsi sehat pada individu yang memicu praktik swamedikasi. Kendati demikian hingga saat ini belum diketahui hubungan antara persepsi sehat dengan swamedikasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode cross-sectional analitik dan pengumpulan sampel dengan metode purposive random sampling. Terdapat 152 responden yang merupakan mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia semester 5-8. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara daring dengan media google form. Diperoleh data persepsi sehat sebagian besar mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia selama pandemi COVID-19 baik. Proporsi mahasiswa yang melakukan swamedikasi obat bebas selama pandemi COVID-19 adalah 71,71%. Jenis obat bebas yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa selama pandemi COVID-19 sebagian besar adalah antitusif dan antipiretik. Terdapat hubungan signifikan antara persepsi sehat subvariabel kesehatan umum dengan perilaku swamedikasi obat bebas pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia selama pandemi COVID-19 (p=0.001; OR 4,503; 95% CI 1,754 - 11,557).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, self-medication has become an increasing health issue. One of the affected population is students. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the search for self-medication information for students. The COVID-19 pandemic situation can also cause changes in health perception in individuals that trigger the practice of self-medication. However, until now there is no known relationship between the health perception and self-medication. This research was conducted by cross-sectional analytic method and sample collection by purposive random sampling. There are 152 respondents students at University of Indonesia semester 5-8. Data collection was done by distributing online questionnaires using google form media. In general, The health perception of most University of Indonesia students during the COVID-19 pandemic is good. The proportion of students who self-medicated with over-the-counter drugs during the COVID-19 pandemic was 71.71%. The types of over-the-counter drugs used by the students during the COVID-19 pandemic were mostly antitussive and antipyretic. There was a significant relationship between the perception of health in the general health sub-variable with self-medication behavior in University of Indonesia students during the COVID-19 pandemic (p=0.001; OR 4,503; 95% CI 1,754-11,557)."

"Latar belakang: Swamedikasi merupakan penggunaan obat-obatan atas inisiatif diri sendiri salah satunya dengan menggunakan obat tradisional. Swamedikasi obat tradisional dilakukan oleh berbagai kalangan termasuk mahasiswa dan kemungkinan penggunaannya mengalami peningkatan selama masa pandemi COVID-19 . Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi swamedikasi obat tradisional yaitu persepsi individu mengenai kondisi kesehatannya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menjelaskan mengenai hubungan persepsi sehat individu dengan perilaku swamedikasi menggunakan obat tradisional pada mahasiswa.
Metode: Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi potong lintang pada mahasiswa di Universitas Indonesia. Kuesioner SF-36 digunakan untuk mengukur persepsi sehat individu dan kuesioner perilaku swamedikasi obat tradisional disebarkan ke mahasiswa program pendidikan sarjana di Universitas Indonesia. Selanjutnya data diolah dan dianalisis dengan SPSS versi 25.
Hasil: Diperoleh data dari 152 responden mahasiswa di Universitas Indonesia. Secara umum mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia memiliki skor persepsi sehat yang baik. Proporsi penggunaan obat tradisional selama masa pandemi COVID-19 yaitu 62,5%. Tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi sehat dengan perilaku swamedikasi di masa pandemi COVID-19 pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia.
Kesimpulan: Proporsi penggunaan obat tradisional pada mahasiswa Universitas Indonesia cukup tinggi, namun tidak berhubungan dengan persepsi sehat pada individu.
......Introduction: Self-medication is the use of medicines on one's own initiative, one of which is using traditional medicine. Self-medication of traditional medicines is carried out by various groups including students and the possibility of their use has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the factors that influence self-medication of traditional medicine is the individual's perception of his health condition. Therefore, this study is aimed at explaining the relationship between individual health perceptions and self-medication behavior using traditional medicine in students.
Method: The research was conducted using a cross-sectional study method on students at the University of Indonesia. The SF-36 questionnaire was used to measure the individual's health perception and the traditional medicine self-medication behavior questionnaire was distributed to students of undergraduate education programs at the University of Indonesia. Furthermore, the data is processed and analyzed with SPSS version 25.
Result: Data were obtained from 152 student respondents at the University of Indonesia. In general, University of Indonesia students have a good health perception score. The proportion of traditional medicine use during the COVID-19 pandemic is 62.5%. There is no significant relationship between health perceptions and self-medication behavior during the COVID-19 pandemic in University of Indonesia students.
Conclusion: The proportion of using traditional medicine among University of Indonesia students is quite high, but it is not related to the perception of health in individuals."
