"Bunuh diri menjadi salah satu penyebab kematian tertinggi pada remaja usia 15-19 tahun. Ide bunuh diri remaja muncul akibat berbagai faktor salah satunya adalah konflik orang tua destruktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara konflik orang tua dengan ide bunuh diri yang dipersepsikan remaja pada siswa sekolah menengah atas di Depok. Konflik orang tua diukur menggunakan instrumen Children’s Perception of Interparental Scale (CPIC). Desain penelitian ini adalah analitik korelatif cross-sectional terhadap 193 remaja usia 15-19 tahun di SMA Negeri 13 Depok yang dipilih menggunakan metode stratified random sampling. Hasil uji korelasi spearman didapatkan ada hubungan bermakna antara persepsi terhadap konflik orang tua dengan ide bunuh diri pada siswa SMA di Depok (p<0,001). Semakin tinggi konflik orang tua yang dipersepsikan remaja, semakin tinggi ide bunuh diri yang muncul (r=0,416). Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan kesehatan terutama keperawatan melalui program promotif dan preventif berfokus pada peningkatan status kesehatan jiwa keluarga dan remaja untuk mencegah munculnya ide bunuh diri pada remaja.

Suicide is one of the leading death causes in adolescents between 15-19 years old. Adolescents’ suicide ideation emerges due to several reasons, one of them is destructive interparental conflict. This study aims to determine the relationship between interparental conflict and suicide ideation perceived by adolescents in senior high school in Depok. The interparental conflict was measured by the Children's Perception of Interparental Scale (CPIC) instrument. The design of this study was correlative-analytic cross-sectional that was conducted on 193 respondents aged 15-19 years old at SMAN 13 Depok selected by stratified random sampling.

The analysis result using Spearman’s Rank Correlation test found that there is a significant relationship between the perception of interparental conflict and suicide ideation among adolescents in senior high school in Depok (p<0,001). In conclusion, as interparental conflict perceived by adolescents becomes higher and more intense, the higher adolescents to be put at risk for suicide ideation (r=0,416). The results of this study are expected to be useful to health services primarily nurses by improving mental health promotion programs that focus on family and adolescence to prevent suicide ideation among adolescents."
