"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai perbandingan regulasi hukum pesaingan usaha di Indonesia dan Amerika Serikat terhadap perusahaan patungan di industri telekomunikasi, perkara perusahaan patungan Primestar dengan perusahaan patungan PT. One Indonesia Synergy (OIS) dan kemungkinan adanya dampak persaingan usaha tidak sehat dari perusahaan patungan tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain yuridis normatif, dimana hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pendirian perusahaan patungan dalam industri telekomunikasi dapat memberikan dampak persaingan usaha tidak sehat, seperti kolusi dan trust. Penelitian ini menyarankan perusahaan patungan untuk diatur dalam kontrol merger UU No. 5 Tahun 1999 tentang Larangan Praktik Monopoli dan Persaingan Usaha Tidak Sehat (UU Persaingan Usaha). ......The purpose of this thesis is about the comparative legal regulation of business competition in Indonesia and the United State against of the telecommunication industry joint venture, the comparison of the case of Primestar joint venture in the United States telecommunication industry with a joint venture of PT. One Indonesia Synergy (OIS) in the Indonesian telecommunications industry and the possible impact of unfair business competition from the joint venture. This research is qualitative research with normative juridical design, where the result of this research explains that the establishment of joint venture in telecommunication industry can give impact of unfair business competition, such as collusion and trust. This research suggests a joint venture to be regulated in the merger control of Law No. 5 of 1999 (Competition Act)."
