Pusat Kesehatan Masyarakat sebagai salah satu jenis fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan tingkat pertama memiliki peranan penting dalam sistem kesehatan nasional. Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Kecamatan Kemayoran ditujukan untuk memahami tugas dan fungsi apoteker dalam melaksanakan Pelayanan Kefarmasian di Puskesmas. Pelayanan Kefarmasian adalah suatu pelayanan langsung dan bertanggung jawab kepada pasien yang berkaitan dengan sediaan farmasi dengan maksud mencapai hasil yang pasti untuk meningkatkan mutu kehidupan pasien. Suatu sarana pelayanan kefarmasian tempat dilaksanakannya dilakukannya praktek kefarmasian oleh Apoteker adalah apotek. Aktivitas pelayanan kefarmasian di Puskesmas dilakukan secara menyeluruh yang meliputi aktivitas promotif, preventif, kuratif dan rehabilitatif kepada masyarakat di wilayah kerja puskesmas yang bersangkutan. Tugas khusus yang diberikan pada kegiatan Praktek Kerja kali ini adalah membuat pengamatan Terhadap Data Pelayanan Obat yang Rasional di Puskesmas.
