ABSTRAK
Bronkopneumonia merupakan proses infeksi akut pada alveolus tepatnya di bronkus yang sering terjadi pada anak-anak. Masalah keperawatan utama pada pasien dengan bronkopneumonia adalah ketidakefektifan bersihan jalan napas berhubungan dengan produksi mukus berlebih. Karya ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aktivitas bermain ldquo;meniup balon rdquo; sebagai pendekatan latihan napas dalam untuk meningkatkan bersihan jalan napas pada anak usia pra sekolah dengan bronkopneumonia. Hasil dari intervensi yang dilakukan yaitu meningkatkan bersihan jalan napas yang ditandai dengan frekuensi napas pasien dalam rentang normal, batuk berkurang, ronkhi berkurang, pasien tampak tenang dan pasien bernapas tidak menggunakan otot bantu napas. Terapi bermain meniup balon dapat dijadikan solusi untuk masalah penumpukan sekret pada pasien bronkopneumonia dengan menerapkan teknik napas dalam menggunakan pendekatan atraumatic care. ABSTRACT
Bronchopneumonia is an acute inflammation process on alveolar, especially on bronchial which often occured among children. The main nursing problem on patient with bronchopneumonia is ineffective airway clearance related with excessive mucus. This scientific paper goal is to see an effect of blowing up ballons play therapy to deep breathe technique on pre school child with bronchopneumonia. Results of this intervention are respiratory rate of patient in a normal range, decreasing of cough, decreasing of mucus, looks calm, and breathe without using accessory respiratory muslces. Blowing up ballons play therapy can be one of strategy for an excessive mucus on patient with bronchopneumonia with apply deep breathe technique with atraumatic care.
