"ABSTRAKSaat ini terdapat masalah yang sering ditemukan pada lanjut usia lansia yaitu keluhan disequilibrium atau gangguan keseimbangan. Lebih dari 65 individu berusai di atas 60 tahun pernah mengalami dysequlibrium atau gangguan keseimbangan dalam kehidupan sehari ndash; harinya. Hal ini selain dihubungan dengan gangguan keseimbangan, juga dapat menyebabkan gangguan fungsional dan psikososial. Salah satu penyebab gangguan keseimbangan pada lansia adalah penurunan kontrol postural akibat penurunan fungsi sel tubuh karena proses penuaan. Kontrol postural terbaik adalah pada usia 30 ndash; 60 tahun, setelah usia 60 tahun ayun tubuh akan mulai meningkat. Gambaran ayun tubuh ini akan dapat memperkiarakan kemungkinan terjadinya gangguan keseimbangan pada lansia sehingga dapat mengantipasi dan mengurangi insiden terjadinya jatuh. Posturografi adalah pemeriksaan keseimbangan yang dapat menilai secara obyektif dan kuantitatif kemampuan keseimbangan kontrol postural. Pemeriksaan ini merupakan pemeriksaan vestibuler yang didesain untuk mengevaluasi interaksi antara sistem visual, vestibuler dan propioseptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran pemeriksaan posturografi stataik pada orang lanjut usia tanpa keluhan gangguan keseimbangan di poliklinik THT FKUI RSUPN Dr. Ciptomangunkusumo.

ABSTRACTCurrently, the most frequent problem found in elderly is disequilibrium or disruption of the balance. More than 65 of person aged above 60 years old experienced disequilibrium or balance disruption in their daily lives. Beside being related to balance disorders, it also can lead to functional and psychosocial problems. One of the etiology of balance disorders in the elderly is declining of postural control due to decreased cell body function by aging process. The best time of postural control is at the age of 30 60 years and body swing function will begin to increase after the age of 60 years. This body swing condition will be able to predict the possibility of a balance disturbance in the elderly so that it can anticipate and reduce the incidence of fall. Posturography is a balance examination that can judge the ability in balancing postural control objectively and quantitatively. This is one type of vestibular examination designed to evaluate the interactions between the visual, vestibular and proprioceptive systems. This research aims to see the description of static posturographic examination in the elderly without any disturbance symptoms in outpatient clinic ENT Medical Faculty of Universitas Indonesia, Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
