"Kepribadian, teman sebaya, dan nilai profesional diprediksi dapat meningkatkan perilaku caring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepribadian, teman sebaya, dan nilai profesional pada mahasiswa profesi ners. Desain penelitian adalah cross sectional dan melibatkan 126 mahasiswa profesi ners di dua institusi pendidikan ners wilayah regional 5 Asosiasi Institusi Pendidikan Ners Indonesia (AIPNI) yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan sedang dan positif kepribadian, perilaku caring teman sebaya, dan nilai profesional keperawatan dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa profesi ners (p <0,001; r berturut-turut 0,483, 0,567, dan 0,742). Kepribadian caring berkontribusi 22,7%, perilaku caring teman sebaya 31,7%, dan nilai profesional 54,7% dalam membentuk perilaku caring mahasiswa. Peneliti merekomendasikan adanya mata kuliah ataupun program yang dapat menjadi sarana penguatan kepribadian caring dan nilai profesional keperawatan, serta pembentukan kelompok caring dan bekerja dalam kelompok yang dapat meningkatkan perilaku caring teman sebaya.

Personality, peers, and professional values are predicted to enhance caring behavior. This study aims to determine the relationship of personality, peers, and professional values with caring behavior in nursing students. The research design was cross-sectional and involved 126 nursing students from two nursing education institutions in the 5th region of the Association of Indonesian Nurse Education Center (AINEC), which were selected by consecutive sampling. The findings of the study indicated a moderate and positive relationship between personality, the caring behavior of peers, and professional values of nursing with the caring behavior of nursing students (p < 0.001; r respectively 0.483, 0.567, and 0.742). The analysis revealed that a caring personality contributed 22.7%, peer caring behavior 31.7%, and professional values 54.7% in shaping students' caring behavior. The researcher proffers recommendations for courses or programs that have the potential to fortify the caring personality and professional values of nursing, in addition to the establishment of caring groups and the cultivation of peer caring behavior within professional contexts."

"Tingkat pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai profesional masih tergolong kurang dan tentunya belum cukup untuk menjadi bekal perawat dalam menjalankan praktik keperawatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang kode etik keperawatan dengan penerapan nilai profesional perawat dalam praktik keperawatan. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional menggunakan kuesioner Tingkat Pengetahuan Perawat tentang Kode Etik Keperawatan dan NPVS-3 versi Indonesia dengan teknik pengambilan proportionate stratified random sampling sehingga jumlah sampelnya yaitu 236 perawat aktif di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang kode etik keperawatan dengan penerapan nilai profesional perawat dalam praktik keperawatan di RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Kota Bekasi yang ditandai dengan P Value = 0.019 (P Value < 0.05). Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan gambaran tingkat pengetahuan perawat tentang kode etik keperawatan telah berada dalam kategori baik dan penerapan nilai profesional perawat yang dihasilkan masih di angka persentase rata-rata 74.6%. Strategi yang diperlukan adalah melakukan pelatihan tentang kode etik maupun nilai profesional keperawatan secara rutin dan terus mengevaluasi kemampuan perawat, baik secara kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotor dalam menerapkan nilai profesional.

The level of knowledge and professional values is still relatively low and certainly not enough to be a provision for nurses in carrying out nursing practice. This study set out to examine the relationship between the level of knowledge about the nursing code of ethics and the application of professional values of nurses in nursing practice. The study design employed a cross-sectional approach, utilizing a questionnaire titled “Level of Knowledge of Nurses about the Nursing Code of Ethics and “The NPVS-3 Indonesian Version”. Stratified random sampling was employed to select a sample of 234 active nurses from RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Bekasi City. The result of this study is that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about the nursing code of ethics and the application of nurses’ professional values in nursing practice at RSUD dr. Chasbullah Abdulmadjid Bekasi City, which is indicated by P Value = 0.019 (P Value < 0.05). The study’s finding indicates that the nurses’ comprehension of the nursing code of ethics is satisfactory, with the implementation of professional values remaining at an average of 74.6%. The study recommends the implementation of a structured training programme on the code of ethics and professional values of nursing, with ongoing evaluation of nurses’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities in applying these values."
