"Keterbatasan lahan kosong di DKI Jakarta mendorong pemerintah membangun Rumah Susun Sederhana (RUSUNA) bagi masyarakat berpenghasilan menengah bawah dan rendah. Beragamnya penghuni RUSUNA berpengaruh terhadap banyaknya kegiatan penghuni yang berpotensi menimbulkan kebakaran. Penghuni lebih banyak menggunakan waktunya di RUSUNA untuk beristirahat atau tidur sehingga dapat mempengaruhi upaya penyelamatan penghuni. Koridor merupakan bagian RUSUNA yang pertama kali diakses penghuni, haruslah bebas hambatan dan didukung sistem proteksi untuk mengakomodasi penyelamatan penghuni saat terjadi kebakaran.
Dalam skripsi ini, mengambil studi kasus RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2 dan RUSUNA Berlian untuk melihat dan menganalisis serta mengevaluasi kefektifan koridor sebagai sarana jalan keluar atau sarana evakuasi. Kedua RUSUNA memiliki tipe koridor berbeda yaitu double loaded pada RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2 dan single loaded untuk RUSUNA Berlian. Penggunaan koridor oleh penghuni sebagai tempat berinteraksi sosial berpengaruh terhadap kefektifitasan koridor sebagai sarana jalan keluar yang diharuskan bebas hambatan. Sistem proteksi yang harusnya mendukung koridor sebagai sarana jalan keluar, tidak dapat mengakomodasi upaya penyelamatan penghuni saat terjadi kebakaran.
Di akhir penulisan, didapatkan koridor dan sistem proteksi kedua RUSUNA dapat dikatakan tidak efektif untuk digunakan sebagai sarana jalan keluar penghuni dalam melakukan evakuasi saat terjadi bahaya kebakaran. Walupun begitu, RUSUNA Berlian memiliki koridor dan sistem proteksi kebakaran yang lebih baik dan efektif dibandingkan RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2.

The limitations of vacant land in Jakarta are prompting the government to build simple flats (RUSUNA) for the lower middle and low income society. The diversity of RUSUNA occupants affects their activities that could potentially cause a fire. Occupants use more of their time in RUSUNA to rest or sleep, this can affect the efforts to rescue them. Corridor is the first part of RUSUNA that will be accessed by occupants, it should be barrier-free and supported by protection systems to accommodate the occupants during a fire rescue.
In this thesis, taking case studies on RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2 and RUSUNA Berlian to view, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of corridors as a evacuation facility or means of escape. Both RUSUNA have different types of double-loaded corridor on RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2 and single loaded on RUSUNA Berlian. The use of corridors by residents as a place of social interaction influence the effectiveness of corridors as a means of escape is required to be barrier-free. Protection system which should support the corridor as a means of escape cannot accommodate the rescue of occupants during a fire.
At the end of writing, found both corridor and RUSUNA protection system can be said to be ineffective as a means of escape to evacuate the occupants in the event of a fire hazard. Even though way, RUSUNA Berlian has more effective corridor and fire protection system than RUSUNA Bendungan Hilir 2.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem proteksi petir yang terpasang pada storage tank di plant BUT SIPL, dengan membandingkannya terhadap standar proteksi petir yang berlaku, yaitu SNI 03-7015, NFPA 780, IEC 62305-3, dan NF C 17-102. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup analisis zona perlindungan petir, evaluasi risiko sambaran, serta studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem proteksi pada kilang minyak telah memenuhi kriteria dengan metode non-konvensional, namun belum sesuai dengan metode konvensional. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penambahan empat terminasi udara, penyesuaian konduktor penyalur, dan sistem pembumian. Sementara itu, tangki LPG dinilai belum sepenuhnya terlindungi, sehingga perlu dirancang ulang dengan menambahkan 12 terminasi udara baru, disertai penyesuaian konduktor penyalur dan pembumian. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas sistem proteksi petir guna meminimalkan risiko kerusakan dan kebakaran, serta memastikan keselamatan operasional plant. Hasil ini diharapkan menjadi dasar pengembangan sistem proteksi petir di masa depan untuk perusahaan BUT SIPL.

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the lightning protection system installed on the storage tanks at the BUT SIPL plant, with a primary focus on comparing the existing system to relevant lightning protection standards, including SNI 03-7015, NFPA 780, IEC 62305-3, and NF C 17-102. The methodology employed encompasses an analysis of the lightning protection zones, an evaluation of lightning strike risks, and a review of pertinent literature. The findings indicate that the lightning protection system at the oil refinery complies with non-conventional methods but does not fully conform to conventional standards. As such, the addition of four air terminals, modifications to the down conductors, and adjustments to the grounding system are recommended. Similarly, the LPG tanks were found to lack complete protection and require a redesign involving the installation of 12 additional air terminals, along with adjustments to the down conductors and grounding systems. This research provides recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of the lightning protection system, aiming to minimize the risks of damage and fire while ensuring the operational safety of the plant. These findings are intended to serve as a foundation for future improvements in lightning protection systems at BUT SIPL. "
