"ABSTRACT
PM2,5 adalah partikulat halus dengan diamterer kurang dari 2,5 μm yang memiliki dampak terhadap kesehatan manusia apabila terhirup dan masuk ke dalam sistem pernapaan. Filter merupakan salah satu komponen terpenting dalam pengukuran debu sebagai media tempat terdepositnya debu yang akan diukur. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan plastik sebagai filter pada Sioutas Personal Cascade Impactor Sampler. Penelitian eksperimental dilakukan untuk membandingkan berat debu yang terdeposit pada filter berbahan PTFE sebagai pembanding dan plastik sebagai bahan filter yang diuji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang bermakna antara berat debu yang didapatkan oleh filter PTFE dan plastik.

ABSTRACT
PM2,5 is a fine particulate matter with diameter less than 2,5 μm which has a health effect on human health when it inhaled into human respiratory system. Filter is one of the most important component on particulate sampling as a media where particulates are collected. The objective of this research is evaluating plastics usage as a filter on Sioutas Personal Cascade Impactor Sampler. Experimental reserach was held to compare dust weight ehich deposited on PTFE filter as a standard an plastics as materials were tested. The result showed there are no differences between dust weight which collected on PTFE filter and plastics."

"Membrane of fuel cell has been prepared by grafted pre-irradiation. Matrix of ETF15, PTFE, and
cross-linked PTFE (PTFE(cD) _films have been irradiated by y-ray at various total dose from 2.5 - 12.5
kGy and various dose rate at 1.9, 1.6, and 1.3 kGy/hour. Irradiated films are then grafted by styrene
monomer in various solvent: ethanol, 2-propanoL and toluene with various concentration _[rom 20 - 60%
volume, various grafting temperature from 30 - 90°C and various grafting time from 2 - 12 hours.
Obtained the good relative condition to grafted pre-irradiation such as using 1,9 kGy/hour dose rate, 10
kGy total dose, 2-propane! solvent, 40% volume styrene 4 hours grafting time, and 70°C grafting
temperature gave percent of grafting ETFE-g-S = 46.69% weight, PTFE-g-S = 11.13% weight, dan
PTFE(cU-g-S = 31.07% weight.

"To obtain the suitable Material for solving set-off problem in intaglio printing, we found the additive which are made from mixed waxs of polyethylene wax (PE wax), polytetrafluorethylene wax (RIFE wax) and carnauba wax. PE wax and PTFE wax used as already in mixed, form which called polyfluo wax. In it's production, polyfluo wax was mixed with carnauba wax in 97 % with 3 % proportion, this mixed was added with solvent in 70 To wax with 30 °/o proportion of solvent and it is heated up to 120 ° C and stirred up, then cooling off until reach the room temperature, this additive called anti set-off. In processing of intaglio printing, the ink used was added by 4 % of this additive to obtain the result of intaglio printing without set-off problem.

Untuk mendapatkan bahan yang cocok dalam upaya mengatasi terjadinya set-off pada hasil cetak intaglio, diperoleh bahan additive yang dibuat dan campuran bahan wax, yaitu wax Poliethilen (wax PE), wax Palitetrafluorethilen (wax PTFE) dan wax Camauba. Wax PE dan wax PTFE yang digunakan sudah berupa campuran yang disebut dengan wax Polifluo. Dalam pembuatannya wax Polifluo dicampur wax Carnauba dengan perbandingan 97 % dan 3 %. Selanjutnya campuran wax ini ditambah dengan solvent dengan perbandingan 70 % wax dan 30 % solvent lalu dipanaskan sambil diaduk sampai temperatur 120 ° C , kemudian didinginkan perlahan-lahan sampai terperatur kamar. Behan additive yang dibuat ini disebut anti set-off. Dalam proses cetak intaglio tinta yang akan digunakan ditambah dengan bahan additive ini sebanyak 4 %, agar hasil cetak intaglio yang didapat tidak mengalami set-off."
