Abstrak :
Perilaku kekerasan adalah respon kemarahan maladaptif dalam bentuk perilaku mencederai diri, orang lain dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran Pengaruh Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). terhadap penurunan perilaku kekerasan. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental pre-post test with control group. Sampel penelitian adalah 53 klien skizoprenia paranoid dengan perilaku kekerasan, terdiri atas 25 kelompok intervensi dan 28 orang kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan respon kognitif dan sosial serta penurunan respon emosi, perilaku, dan fisiologis secara bermakna (p< 0,05) pada klien yang mendapatkan REBT. REBT direkomendasikan untuk diterapkan pada klien perilaku kekerasan bersama dengan tindakan keperawatan generalis.

The study aims to get the explanation of the effect rational emotive behavioral therapy in reducing violent behavioral in Bogor RSMM hospital. Abstrak :
Tesis ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) dan rational behaviour therapy (REBT) terhadap perubahan gejala dan kemampuan klien perilaku kekerasan dan halusinasi di Rumah Sakit Dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Bogor. Desain penelitian quasi eksperimental dengan jumlah sampel 60 responden. Hasil penelitian ditemukan penurunan gejala perilaku kekerasan dan halusinasi lebih besar pada klien yang mendapatkan daripada yang tidak mendapatkan CBT dan REBT (p value < 0.05). Kemampuan kognitif, afektif dan perilaku klien yang mendapatkan CBT dan REBT meningkat secara bermakna (p value < 0.05). CBT dan REBT direkomendasikan sebagai terapi keperawatan pada klien perilaku kekerasan dan halusinasi.

This thesis aims to examine the effectiveness of cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) and rational emotive behaviour therapy (REBT) to changes in symptoms and the client's ability to violent behaviour and hallucinations at Dr. H. Marzoeki Mahdi Hospital in Bogor. Quasi-experimental research design with a sample of 60 respondents. The study found a decrease symptoms of violent behaviour and hallucinations greater gain than the clients that did not receiving CBT and REBT (p value < 0.05). Cognitive, affective and behavioral abilities the clients who receiving CBT and REBT have increased significantly (p value < 0.05). CBT and REBT is recommended as a therapeutic nursing at the client?s violent behaviour and hallucinations.
