"ABSTRAK
Studies of forest ecosystems enable gathering important information on the natural environment the development of which is more and more disturbed by the global climate change. The current research on the ecosystem functioning provides data that may be of much value for future analysis and prognostic studies. Modern measurement techniques used in the forest research have a significant influence on the increase in the database resources, especially those concerning the spatial data. Big data requires the use of advanced analytical technologies, such as data warehouses, computer clusters or cloud computing. Consequently, cooperation of specialists from various scientific disciplines, including forestry, geography, climatology and computer science, has become increasingly necessary. The IT system of the Forest Research Institute was modernized within the framework of the Operational Programme Innovative Economy 2007 until 2013. Its functionality allows integrating, storing and analyzing ever more big databases from dispersed sources. The idea of open access to data is realized by the FRI mainly through publication of research results in domestic and foreign scientific journals, in specialized information services and on scientific portals. On the other hand, open access to raw data still raises a lot of concern and controversies in the scientific community, especially in the context of copyright infringement."

"Abstrak
To understand the current social situation in Indonesia and its changes over the decades, the population census implemented by Statistics Indonesia, Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), provides us with important basic information. The usefulness of population census data has greatly increased since 2000 because ethnicity was added to the questionnaire, and BPS published the digitized raw data. This study analyzes the case of Riau Province mainly using raw data from the 2000 and 2010 population censuses, which show that migration from other provinces increased considerably and the employment structure changed significantly. The characteristics of migrants in Riau Province varied during different periods. Minangkabau from West Sumatra Province were dominant in the 1970s, but Javanese from Java Island with governmental support (transmigrasi) exceeded this number in the 1980s. Bataks and Javanese from North Sumatra Province have made up the largest number of migrants since the 1990s. The increase in migrants between 2000 and 2010 was driven by the rapid development of the estate crop sector in Riau Province, especially the oil palm industry, and many local ethnic groups also switched from food crops to estate crops. In 2010, more than a third of the total population in Riau Province was engaged in the estate crop sector. Nevertheless, a notable finding from our analysis is that the descendants of migrants are inclined to engage in industries other than the estate crop sector."

menghasilkan KPI penanganan keluhan umum 95.7%, Pemenuhan aktivasi

ABSTRACT
Minister of Telecommunication of Republik Indonesia (Kominfo) has been
issuing regulation number 16/2013 about the standard quality of cellular
telephony. The service provider must not only comply with the new regulations
but also be exposed to other new regulation plan which operator than not able to
meet the QoS will be fined.
At present, QoS’s measurement by the Regulator have been done passively, in
which operators reported their QoS to Kominfo through BRTI. The such reporting
mechanism is inefficient, while data integrity is questioned.
This thesis proposes and simulates the new model in which government may
actively measure and quantize the QoS. The new Model is based on datamining
processing the raw data from both network cellular infrastructure and twitter data.
The new model is simulated by data of October 2013 on XYZ Operator and the
KPI result are general complaint handle about 95.7%, Activation about 99.74%,
Dropped call about 1.01 % and success rate about 98.73%. All of this KPI are
passed the regulation. By doing this new method, hopefully goverment can be
actively and objectively measure the operator’s KPI."

Research data or raw data are institutional assets that need to be archived, preserved, and disseminated to the public. Apart from being evidence of the results of research activities, storing data allows data to be reused, generates new data and can improve the quality of future research. The practice of sharing research data has been widely carried out in various countries and in Indonesia it is being developed.. There are many factors that influence researchers as owners of research data to be willing to deposit and share their data through various platforms. This study aims to determine the factors that influence researchers to deposit their research data in an institutional data repository using the Theory of Planed Behavior (TPB). The factors in this study were categorized into 3 factors, namely (1) disciplinary factors (perception of benefits to the community, perception of community norms), (2) institutional factors (perceptions of institutional regulations, perceptions of institutional support), and (3) Individual factors (perceptions of career benefits, perceptions of career risks, and perceptions of the effort required). Sampling technic using random sampling technique. The number of samples as many as 320 researchers came from two agencies, namely Balitbangkes and LIPI. Research data were analyzed using PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling). The results show that normative pressure in scientific disciplines (perception of community norms) which is part of the discipline factor and institutional support has a significant positive effect on the behavior of researchers in depositing research data through institutional data repositories. On the other hand, individual motivation (perception of the effort required) significantly negatively affects the behavior of researchers in depositing research data through institutional data repositories. Institutional regulations as normative beliefs are not proven to have a significant effect on the behavior of researchers in depositing research data through institutional data repositories. This study suggests institutions to focus more on taking concrete steps to encourage research data depositing behavior through the implementation of rewards and punishments for researchers related to the implementation of research data deposit policies, providing reliable services and infrastructure to build research trust and to ensure the reliability and security of researchers' data. In addition, the provision of special human resources that will help researchers to deposit their data in institutional data repositories and simplify the process of depositing data. "
