"Ground moving radar
target classification is one of the recent research issues that has arisen in
an airborne ground moving target indicator (GMTI) scenario. This work presents
a novel technique for classifying individual targets depending on their radar
cross section (RCS) values. The RCS feature is evaluated using the Chebyshev
polynomial. The radar captured target usually provides an imbalanced solution
for classes that have lower numbers of pixels and that have similar
characteristics. In this classification technique, the Chebyshev polynomial?s
features have overcome the problem of confusion between target classes with
similar characteristics. The Chebyshev polynomial highlights the RCS feature
and is able to suppress the jammer signal. Classification has been performed by
using the probability neural network (PNN) model. Finally, the classifier with
the Chebyshev polynomial feature has been tested with an unknown RCS value. The
proposed classification method can be used for classifying targets in a GMTI
system under the warfield condition."

"Latar belakang: Gangguan kognitif ringan adalah kondisi yang dapat memburuk menjadi demensia, salah satu kondisi penyebab disabilitas terbanyak pada lansia. Gangguan kognitif ringan penting untuk dideteksi sedini mungkin namun di Indonesia belum ada kuesioner khusus untuk menapis gangguan kognitif ringan pada lansia.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti kesahihan dan keandalan kuesioner Saint Louis University Mental Status (SLUMS) dan Rapid Cognitive Screen (RCS) berbahasa Indonesia untuk menapis gangguan kognitif ringan pada lansia.
Metode: Penelitian potong lintang melibatkan 85 subjek berusia 60 tahun di komunitas Jakarta pada Oktober-November 2024. Peneliti melakukan translasi dan adaptasi budaya kuesioner SLUMS dan RCS ke Bahasa Indonesia. Uji kesahihan mencakup kesahihan konstruksi dan kriteria. Uji keandalan mencakup pendekatan est-retest dan konsistensi internal.

Hasil Utama: SLUMS Bahasa Indonesia memiliki kesahihan konstruksi yang dapat diterima (r=0,404-0,827) antara setiap pertanyaan dengan skor total dan kesahihan kriteria yang baik (r=0,757 dengan MoCA-Ina), serta keandalan baik berdasarkan konsistensi internal baik (Cronbach α=0,695) dan korelasi test-retest baik ( Intraclass correlation coefficient/ ICC 0,990, p < 0,0001). RCS Bahasa Indonesia memiliki kesahihan konstruksi yang dapat diterima (r=0,260-0,738) antara setiap pertanyaan dengan skor total dan kesahihan kriteria yang baik (r=0,623 dengan MoCA-Ina), serta keandalan baik berdasarkan konsistensi internal baik (Cronbach α=0,696) dan korelasi test-retest baik (ICC 0,968, p < 0,0001). Simpulan: SLUMS dan RCS Bahasa Indonesia adalah kuesioner yang sahih dan andal untuk menapis gangguan kognitif ringan pada lansia.

Background: Mild cognitive impairment is a condition that can progress into dementia, one of the leading causes of disability among the elderly. Early detection of MCI is crucial, yet there has not been a specific questionnaire to screen for MCI in older adults in Indonesia. Objective: This study aims to evaluate the validity and reliability of the Indonesian versions of the Saint Louis University Mental Status (SLUMS) and Rapid Cognitive Screen (RCS) questionnaires for screening mild cognitive impairment in the elderly. Method: This cross-sectional study involving 85 community-dwelling participants was conducted between October and November 2024, in Jakarta. The study began with the translation and cultural adaptation of the SLUMS and RCS questionnaires into Indonesian. The validity tests included construct and criterion validity, while the reliability tests included test-retest and internal consistency. Results: The Indonesian version of SLUMS showed acceptable construct validity (r=0.404-0.827), good criterion validity (r=0.757 with MoCA-Ina), high internal consistency (Cronbach α=0.695) and excellent test-retest correlation (Intraclass correlation coefficient/ ICC 0.990, p < 0.0001). The Indonesian version of RCS also showed acceptable construct validity (r=0.260-0.738), good criterion validity (r=0.623 with MoCA-Ina), good internal consistency (Cronbach α=0.696) and excellent test-retest correlation (ICC 0.968, p < 0.0001). Conclusion: The Indonesian versions of SLUMS and RCS are valid and reliable questionnaires for screening mild cognitive impairment in the elderly."
