"Tesis ini membahas pendekatan prinsip kehati-hatian yang dapat diterapkan dalam pengelolaan ULN perusahaan dan kesesuaian antara pendekatan prinsip kehatihatian dalam pengelolaan ULN perusahaan dengan regulasi ULN perusahaan yang ditetapkan oleh otoritas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah doktrinal (bersifat normatif) dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menemukan bahwa prinsip kehati-hatian dalam pengelolaan ULN perusahaan dapat diterapkan dengan manajemen risiko, pemenuhan tingkat rasio-rasio tertentu, dan rating utang. Dari hasil analisis terhadap regulasi mengenai penerapan prinsip kehati-hatian ULN perusahaan yang diterapkan periode 2000 ? 2014, penulis melihat terdapat keselarasan antara regulasi, prinsip kehati-hatian dan perkembangan ULN perusahaan pada periode yang sama.

This thesis discusses the prudential principles that can be applied in the management of external debt of non-bank private sector and the compatibility between the prudential principles in the management of external debt of non-bank private sector and the regulation issued by the authorities. The research method used is doctrinal (normative) with legislation approach.

In this study the authors found that the prudential principles in the management of external debt of non-bank private sector can be applied in risk management, compliance levels of certain ratios, and debt rating. From the analysis of the regulations concerning the prudential principle on non-bank private sector that applied the period 2000 - 2014, author see there is harmony between regulations, the prudential principles and the condition of external debt on non-bank private sector in the same period."
