Abstrak :
Salah satu tantangan berat dari kehadiran Internet of Things (IoT) adalah resource allocation. Hal itu terjadi karena terhubungnya node-node dalam jumlah banyak secara simultan ke dalam jaringan. Sedangkan bandwidth yang ada jumlahnya terbatas. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan algoritma penjadwalan yang efisien. Namun sayangnya, saat ini penelitian tentang network scheduling, terutama 802.15.4e, masih terkendala tools simulator. Berdasarkan penjelasan diatas penelitian ini mengusulkan platform simulator terbuka untuk mengimplementasikan network scheduling. Platform ini, dapat digunakan oleh siapa saja yang ingin melakukan simulasi algoritma penjadwalan. Platform ini dibangun menggunakan PHP dan javascript. Pada penelitian ini peneliti digunakan algoritma IR-TASA untuk menguji kinerja simulator yang dibangun. Hasilnya, pengujian pada dua variabel yaitu jumlah time slot aktif dan jumlah iterasi/cycle menunjukan hasil yang sama 100% antara network simulator dan pengujian heuristik, untuk percobaan menggunakan 10 topologi yang berbeda. ......The most difficult challenge of the presence of the Internet of Things (IoT) is resource allocation. This happens because large numbers of nodes are simultaneously connected to networks, while the existing bandwidth is limited. Therefore, an efficient scheduling algorithm is needed. However, unfortunately, current research on network scheduling, especially 802.15.4e, is still constrained by simulator tools. Thus, this study proposes an open simulator platform for implementing network scheduling. This platform can be used by anyone who wishes to conduct a scheduling algorithm simulation. This platform is developed using PHP and javascript. In this study the researchers used the IR-TASA algorithm to test the performance of the proposed simulator. The results of testing from two variables the number of active time slots and the number of iterations/cyclesshowed the same result, 100%, between network simulators and heuristic testing, for experiments using 10 different topologies.

Pada tahun 2018, fenomena dalam industri batu bara memberikan perusahaan batu bara Indonesia insentif untuk meningkatkan produksi dan distribusi. Namun, peningkatan ini perlu didukung dengan pengelolaan kapasitas fasilitas yang efektif dan efisien, termasuk alokasi armada tongkang yang digunakan untuk mentransportasikan batu bara ke destinasi pelanggan. Sebelumnya, berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan mengenai hal ini, tetapi belum ada yang mendiskusikan pengelolaan kapasitas armada tongkang yang mempertimbangkan penambahan armada dengan cara menyewa (charter) unit-unit tongkang baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan alokasi optimal jumlah perjalanan (voyage) tongkang, baik menggunakan unit yang sudah ada maupun tambahan. Sebuah perusahaan tambang batu bara Indonesia di Kalimantan Selatan digunakan sebagai studi kasus, dan integer programming (IP) digunakan sebagai metode. Output dari penelitian ini adalah alokasi optimal jumlah perjalanan (voyage) tongkang batu bara untuk destinasi domestik dan transshipment yang mempertimbangkan penambahan unit tongkang melalui penyewaan (chartering). ......In the year 2018, phenomena within the coal industry have given incentive for Indonesian coal-mining companies to increase their production and distribution. However, this increase needs to be supported by effective and efficient facility capacity management, including allocation of the barge fleet used to transport coal to customer destinations. Previous research has been done on the subject, but none has yet discussed the issue of barge fleet capacity management that considers the possibility of addition to the fleet by way of chartering new barge units. This research aims to determine the optimal allocation of coal barge fleet in terms of number of voyages of both existing and additional barge units. The case of an Indonesian coal-mining company based in Southern Borneo is used for case study, and integer programming (IP) is deployed as the method. The output of this research is an optimal allocation of coal barge fleet for domestic and transshipment destinations in terms of number of voyages that considers the addition of new barge units to the fleet through chartering.

ABSTRAK
Tesis ini menyajikan pemodelan berbasis Hierarchical Timed Colored Petri Net dan pendekatan optimasi Genetic Algorithm untuk alokasi sumber daya manusia dalam desain proses. Tujuan dari Genetic Algorithm adalah untuk menemukan alokasi sumber daya manusia yang memiliki total durasi most likely paling minimal dari proyek perancangan dan under time of resources paling minimal. Simulasi proses perancangan pada Hierarchical Timed Colored Petri Net didasarkan pada hasil alokasi sumber daya manusia dari Genetic Algorithm. Dengan menjalankan simulasi, bisa didapatkan most likely time, optimistic time, dan pessimistic time dari sebuah proyek desain. Dengan menggunakan Project Evaluation and Review Technique, dapat dihitung waktu yang diharapkan dan standar deviasi suatu proyek desain berdasarkan hasil simulasi. Dari hasil simulasi, dapat ditinjau kembali pekerjaan mana dari proses perancangan yang memiliki alokasi sumber daya manusia yang paling kritis.Studi kasus dalam tesis ini didasarkan pada proses perancangan salah satu perusahaan di Taipei, Taiwan. Hasil Genetic Algorithm memberikan 5 solusi terbaik untuk alokasi sumber daya dengan nilai fitness terbaik adalah 318,8. 5 solusi terbaik ini memiliki durasi proyek desain yang sama yaitu 204 hari. Setelah menjalankan simulasi model HTCPN, solusi 2 memiliki perkiraan waktu proyek desain paling minimal yaitu 208,5 hari. Solusi 2, 4, dan 5 memiliki pekerjaan paling kritis yang sama yaitu pekerjaan 20, pekerjaan 21, pekerjaan 24, pekerjaan 27, dan pekerjaan 34.
ABSTRACT
This thesis presents a Hierarchical Timed Colored Petri Net based modeling and Genetic Algorithm optimization approach for human resource assignment in a process design. The objective of the genetic algorithm is to find the human resource assignment that has the most minimal most likely total duration of the design project and the under time of resources. The simulating of the design process in Hierarchical Timed Colored Petri Net is based on the human resource assignment result of the genetic algorithm. By running the simulation, it can get the optimistic time, most likely time, and pessimistic time of a design project. Using project evaluation and review technique it can calculate the expected time and the standard deviation of a design project based on the simulation results. From simulation results, can be reviewed which job of a design process that has the most critical human resource assignment.A Case study in this thesis based on the design process of one of the companies in Taipei, Taiwan. The genetic algorithm results give the best 5 solutions of resource allocation with the best fitness value is 318.8. These 5 best solutions have the same most likely duration of design project which is 204 days. After running the simulation using HTCPN model, solution 2 have the most minimal expected time of a design project which is 208.5 days. Solution 2, 4, and 5 have the same most critical jobs which are job 20, job 21, job 24, job 27, and job 34.

Abstrak :
This book provides an overview of the latest research and development of new technologies for cognitive radio, mobile communications, and wireless networks. The contributors discuss the research and requirement analysis and initial standardization work towards 5G cellular systems and the capacity problems it presents. They show how cognitive radio, with the capability to flexibly adapt its parameters, has been proposed as the enabling technology for unlicensed secondary users to dynamically access the licensed spectrum owned by legacy primary users on a negotiated or an opportunistic basis. They go on to show how cognitive radio is now perceived in a much broader paradigm that will contribute to solve the resource allocation problem that 5G requirements raise. The chapters represent hand-selected expanded papers from EAI sponsored and hosted conferences such as the 12th EAI International Conference on Mobile and Ubiquitous Systems, the 11th EAI International Conference on Heterogeneous Networking for Quality, Reliability, Security and Robustness, the 10th International Conference on Cognitive Radio Oriented Wireless Networks, the 8th International Conference on Mobile Multimedia Communications, and the EAI International Conference on Software Defined Wireless Networks and Cognitive Technologies for IoT.
