"Restorasi ekosistem merupakan salah satu program pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mengembalikan keseimbangan ekosistem pada hutan yang telah rusak dan peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat lokal yang ada disekitarnya. Salah satu hutan restorasi ekosistem di Indonesia adalah Hutan Harapan yang dikelola oleh PT. Restorasi Ekosistem Indonesia. Perubahan hutan produksi menjadi kawasan lindung berdampak pada kehidupan masyarakat desa Sako Suban yang terletak di sekitar wilayah konsesi PT. REKI. Penelitian ini membahas dampak mata pencarian masyarakat Sako Suban akibat kebijakan restorasi ekosistem. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil perolehan data dianalisis dengan konsep mata pencarian berkelanjutan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa usaha merestorasi ekosistem mempersempit ruang gerak masyarakat Desa Sako Suban yang bermata pencarian mengandalkan hasil hutan. Akan tetapi untuk menciptakan mata pencarian berkelanjutan tidak dapat hanya memberikan tekanan dan hukuman kepada pelanggar peraturan. Tetapi masyarakat diberikan alternatif mata pencarian agar dapat berkolaborasi dalam mengkonservasi hutan.......Ecosystem restoration is a government program that aims to restore ecosystems' balance to damaged forests and increase the capacity of local communities around them. This research discusses the impact of the livelihoods of the Sako Suban community due to ecosystem restoration policies. Collecting data used in this study were interviews and field observations. The results of data acquisition were analyzed using the concept of sustainable livelihoods. This study's results indicate that efforts to restore the ecosystem narrowed the space for Sako Suban Village people, whose eyes were to rely on forest products. However, creating sustainable livelihoods can not only provide pressure and punishment to rule-breakers. But the community is given alternative livelihoods so that they can collaborate in conserving forests"
