Abstrak :
Skripsi ini membahas mengenai kemampuan literasi informasi siswa di SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo. Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode survei dan kuesioner sebagai instrumen untuk pengumpulan data. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 86 responden. Model yang digunakan sebagai pedoman instrument penelitan adalah The Big6 Skills. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi informasi siswa kelas XI lebih unggul dibanding kemampuan literasi informasi siswa kelas X, dapat dikatakan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pelaksanaan program kelas literasi informasi terhadap tingkat kemampuan literasi informasi siswa. ...... This thesis describes about information literacy skills of students at SMA Negeri 7 Purworejo. This research is a descriptive quantitative approach using survey method and questionnaire as instruments to collect the data. The model used as the instrument research tool is The Big6 Skills. The result of this research shows that the information literacy skills of students in grade XI is better than the students in grade X, so it can be said that the implemention of information literacy class program influenced the level of information literacy skills of the students.

Abstrak :
It's no longer about just about having the "best" collection. As education shifts to a learner-centered environment, collection development must address the dynamic interplay between all stakeholders in the wider school community. Based on the latest educational theory and research, Hughes-Hassell and Mancall recommend a plan to operate school media centers in the midst of radical flux, while meeting students' information needs in a holistic context.
