"ABSTRAK
Makalah ini membahas kalimat yang mengalami pergeseran struktur setelah diterjemahkan. Sebagai korpus data digunakan empat artikel terjemahan di laman Goethe-Institut Indonesia dengan fokus analisisnya adalah teks sasaran, yaitu bahasa Indonesia. Fokus makalah ini terletak pada pergeseran struktur kalimat terjemahan menurut teori Hasan Alwi. Digunakan pula teori dari Kridalaksana, Kushartanti, Nieder dan Stern sebagai penunjang. Metode penelitian analisis kontrastif diterapkan untuk membandingkan teks sumber dengan teks sasaran yang kemudian dicari perbedaannya. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh 25 kalimat yang mengalami pergeseran struktur berdasarkan lima kriteria yang telah ditetapkan oleh penulis. Terdapat lima kalimat yang sesuai dengan teori Hasan Alwi, sedangkan 20 kalimat lainnya tidak, karena teori tersebut hanya berlaku untuk kalimat tunggal, sedangkan data yang dianalisis juga menunjukkan kalimat-kalimat kompleks. Alasan lainnya karena perbedaan aturan tata bahasa Indonesia dengan bahasa Jerman.

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses sentences that possess shifted structure on translation. Four translation articles from official website Goethe-Institut Indonesia are used as the data. The focus of this analysis is target text, Indonesian, and the focus of this paper lies on the shifted structure of sentence after being translated according to Hasan Alwi rsquo;s theory. Theories by Kridalaksana, Kushartanti, Nieder and Stern are also used as addition. The method of this paper is contrastive analysis which is used to comparing source text with target text and look for the differences. The result of the analysis shows that there are 25 sentences have experienced the structural shift after the writer arranged five criteria. There are five sentences are into Hasan Alwi rsquo;s theory, while the remaining 20 sentences are not included because the theory only valid to simple sentence. But in fact, corpus data also pointed the complex sentences. Furthermore due to the differences in grammatical rules. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola-pola dasar kalimat mahasiswa dalam menulis karangan. metode penelitian dirancang dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. dalam hal ini, subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa bahsa inggris semester satu. setiap mahasiswa diarahkan menuliskan teks recount dan selanjutnya peneliti menganalisanya. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebahagian besar dari mahasiswa hanya mampu menggunakan tiga pola kalimat dasar yaitu s+v, s+v+o, dan s+lv+adj. pola kalimat lainnya seperti sv+io+o, s+v+o+oc, s+lv+n belum ditemukan. disamping itu terdapat beberapa kesalahan dalam grammar seperti tenses, penggunaan linking verb, parts of speech, dsb. ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa semester satu jurusan pendidikan bahasa inggris masih sangat lemah dalam menggunakan pola-pola kalimat bahasa inggris."

"Penelitian ini berfokus pada jenis kalimat tanya dan fungsi kalimat tanya dalam film Ja Ik Wil karya Kees van Nieuwkerk. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk dapat menguraikan jenis-jenis kalimat tanya dan fungsi kalimat tanya dalam film tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mengelompokkan kalimat berdasarkan jenisnya untuk mendapatkan kalimat-kalimat tanya dalam dialog film tersebut, kemudian menganalisis fungsi dari kalimat tanya yang dilontarkan oleh para tokoh dalam dialog film Ja Ik Wil. Hasil dari penelitian atas kalimat-kalimat tanya dalam dialog tersebut ditemukan bahwa, kalimat tanya dengan jenis gesloten vragen lebih banyak digunakan dibanding dengan kalimat tanya jenis open vragen. Kalimat tanya memiliki daya ilokusi sehingga tidak sekedar untuk bertanya tetapi memiliki fungsi tertentu dalam berbahasa. Dalam film Ja Ik Wil ini ditemukan bahwa kalimat tanya dalam dialog film tersebut memiliki fungsi untuk meminta, seruan, menanyakan pendapat, menanyakan situasi atau keadaan seseorang, menanyakan keberadaan seseorang, tempat dan benda dan menanyakan sebuah kejadian atau peristiwa.

This study focuses on the types of interrogative sentences and the function of interrogative sentences in the film Ja Ik Wil by Kees van Nieuwkerk. The purpose of this research is to describe the types of interrogative sentences and the function of the interrogative sentences in the film. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method by grouping sentences based on their type to get the interrogative sentences in the film's dialogue, then analyzing the function of the interrogative sentences raised by the dialogue from the characters in the film Ja Ik Wil. The results of the research on interrogative sentences in the dialogue found that interrogative sentences with the closed-ended question type were more widely used than those with the open-ended question type. An interrogative sentence has illocutionary power so that it is not just asking but has a specific function in language. In the Ja Ik Wil film, it is found that the interrogative sentence in the film's dialogue has a function to request, to exclamation, to ask opinions, ask about someone's situation, ask about someone's existence, ask about places and objects and ask about an event."

"Kajian tentang bagaimana mengukur kompleksitas pertuturan (stylistic complexity) seseorang berdasarkan analisis linguistik merupakan salah satu kajian yang dipandang kompleks dalam analisis linguistik. Kajian ini secara linguistik sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Melalui kajian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan ukuran yang dapat dijadikan patokan untuk menentukan tingkat kesulitan pemahaman suatu pertuturan.
Penelitian ini ingin menjawab masalah (1) bagaimanakah pola kalimat berdasarkan konstituen klausa dan proporsi kemunculannya di dalam wacana anak usia fase operasional konkret berusia 7-12 tahun? (2) bagaimanakah kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia tersebut? (3) apakah kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia tersebut berbeda secara bertahap dalam setiap tahun? (4) apakah kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan yang berarti dalam setiap peningkatan tahun usia? Untuk itu, dilakukan (1) deskripsi pola kalimat wacana anak fase operasional konkret berusia anak usia 7-12 tahun, (2) deskripsi sebaran tingkat kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak itu berdasarkan rata-rata panjang kalimat, rata-rata panjang blok informasi, dan rata-rata kedalaman klausa sematan, (3) pengukuran variasi kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia itu, dan (4) pengukuran peningkatan kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia itu.
Untuk mencapai tujuan itu direkamlah tuturan lisan Bahasa Indonesia anak fase operasional konkret berusia 7-12 tahun, yang didapat dari pengamatan alamiah maupun dengan pemancingan tuturan. Korpus data wacana penelitian ini berupa transkripsi 48 tuturan lisan-yang terdiri atas 1053 kalimat-terbagi dalam 6 tingkatan usia. Tiap-tiap tingkatan usia terwakili 8 wacana. Dari 8 wacana setiap tingkatan usia ditemukan 249 kalimat untuk tingkat usia 7 tahun, 169 kalimat tingkat usia 8 tahun, 194 kalimat tingkat usia 9 tahun, 156 kalimat tingkat usia 10, 147 kalimat tingkat usia 11, dan 138 kalimat tingkat usia 12 tahun.
Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, di dalam wacana anak fase operasional konkret berusia 7-12 tahun ditemukan 34 pola kalimat. Pola kalimat yang paling banyak muncul adalah pola A, diikuti pola A+A, AB, dan BA, sedangkan pola yang lain hanyalah pola variasi. Pada wacana anak usia 7 tahun, ditemukan 9 pola kalimat dan pola yang paling banyak muncul adalah pola A, disusul pola A+A, A+A+A, dan AB. Pada wacana anak usia 8 tahun ditemukan 7 pola kalimat dan poles kalimat yang paling banyak muncul adalah A, disusul pola A+A, AB. Pada wacana anak usia 9 tahun ditemukan 14 pola kalimat dan pola yang paling banyak muncul adalah A, diikuti pola A+A, BA, dan AB. Pada wacana anak usia 10 tahun ditemukan 19 pola kalimat dan pola kalimat yang paling banyak muncul adalah pola. A, diikuti pola A+A, AB, dan BA. Pada wacana anak usia 11 tahun ditemukan 16 pola kalimat dan pola. kalimat yang paling banyak muncul adalah pola BA, diikuti pola A+A, A, dan AB. Pada wacana anak usia 12 tahun ditemukan 23 pola kalimat dan pola kalimat yang paling banyak muncul adalah pola A+A, diikuti pola A, AB, dan BA.
Hasil analisis kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia fase operasional konkret berusia 7-12 tahun menunjukkan bahwa kompleksitas kalimat, baik berdasarkan rata-rata panjang kalimat, rata-rata panjang blok informasi, maupun rata kedalaman klausa sematan itu berbeda. Perbedaan tingkat kompleksitas ini menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan. Di samping itu, jika usia anak itu bertambah, kompleksitas kalimat wacana pun ikut bertambah. Dengan kata lain, semakin tinggi usia anak, semakin tinggi kompleksitas kalimat wacananya. Peningkatan kompleksitas kalimat itu menunjukkan peningkatan kompleksitas kalimat yang signifikan. Adapun berdasarkan golongan tingkatan kompleksitasnya, kompleksitas kalimat wacana anak usia face operasional konkret berusia 7﷓12 tahun berdasarkan rata-rata panjang kalimat adalah 1,86 tergolong kompleksitas tingkat II atau sedang; berdasarkan rata-rata panjang blok informasi adalah 1,32 tergolong tingkat II atau sedang; dan berdasarkan rata-rata kedalaman klausa sematan adalah 1,24 tergolong tingkat II atau sedang.

The study how to measure stylistic complexity of a person based linguistic analysis is one of the complicated study in linguistic analysis. This study is worth doing linguistically. Through this study, it is expected that standard of measurement for comprehension level of difficulties of style is found out.
The research aims to answering the following problems (1) What sentence patterns, based on clause constituent and the frequency of occurrence in the discourse of concrete operational phase age of children of 7 to 12 years old? (2) How complex is the discourse sentence in those ages? (3) Are the complexities of the discourse sentences for every difference of one year's age? (4) Is there any improvement in the complexities that are significantly seen as their age increasing of their age? For those purposes the following steps are taken (1) Describing discourse sentence patterns concrete operational phase children of 7 - 12 years. (2) Describing the distribution of children discourse sentence complexities based on sentence length, information block length, embedded clause depth averages. (3) Measuring the children discourse sentence complexities, and. (4) Measuring the improvement/increase the complexities of the children sentence discourse.
To achieve the goals the oral style of the children was re corded, by means of natural observation or by probing questions. The corpus of this research discourse consists of transcription of 48 says of oral style--consisting of 1053 sentences--divided into 6 levels based in the age of the children. Each level of ages is represented in 6 discourse. In those levels can be found out the following, 249 sentences in 7 year level, 169 in 8 year level, 194 in 9 year level, 156 sentences in 10 years old level, 147 sentences in 11 years old level, and 138 sentences in 12 years old level.
Based on the data analysis, 34 sentence patterns are found out in the concrete operational phase children discourse of the age 7 - 12 years. The sentence patterns frequency in their order of their frequencies is, A pattern, A+A pattern, AB and BA, and the frequency are patterns of variation. In the children discourse of 7 year old 9 sentence pattern are found, and their order of frequency is A, A+A, AB, and A+A+A. In the children discourse of 8 years 7 sentence patterns, in the order of A, A+A, and AB. Fourteen sentence patterns are for found in the 14 years old children discourse with the order of frequency A, A+A, BA, and BA. From the 10 years old children discourse, 19 sentence patterns are found with their order of frequency, A, A+A, AB, and BA. In the discourse of 11 years old children, 16 patterns are found out with the order of frequency BA, A+A, A and AB. From the discourse of 12 year old children, 23 patterns are found with the order of frequency A+A, A, AB, and BA.

"Skripsi ini berisi tentang pelanggaran terhadap prinsip kesantunan berbahasa yang terdapat dalam naskah Klempakan Cariyos Tionghwa Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See karya Dwi Woro Mastuti. Naskah tersebut menceritakan perjalanan tokoh dari Tiongkok yang bernama Sik Jin Kwi berperang ke Barat guna menumpas kejahatan. Pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan yang dapat ditemukan di dalamnya berupa kata/frase/kalimat. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori maksim kesantunan berbahasa menurut Leech. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan dan mendeskripsikan kata/frase/kalimat yang dilanggar dalam naskah Klempakan Cariyos Tionghwa Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See. Hasil analisis menyatakan bahwa pelanggaran prinsip kesantunan Leech di dalam naskah Klempakan Cariyos Tionghwa Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See didominasi oleh frase dan pelanggaran maksim yang paling produktif yaitu maksim pujian, maksim kerendahhatian, maksim kesepakatan, dan maksim simpati.

This undergraduate thesis tells about violation to politeness principles in a manuscript of Klempakan Cariyos Tionghwa Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See, written by Dwi Woro Mastuti. Those manuscript narrates the tale of a man from Tiongkok who had a journey to the West for criminality extermination mission. Violation to politeness principles occur in this manuscript formed word/phrase/sentence. I used the maxim politeness principles theory from Leech to make an analysis for this thesis. This research purposeful look on word/phrase/sentence violated in a manuscript of Klempakan Cariyos Tionghwa Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See. It all boils down to are violation to politeness Leech principles in a story of Sik Jin Kwi Ceng See is dominated by phrase and the most productive maxims are approbation maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim."

Intonasi merupakan salah satu aspek yang perlu dikuasai seorang pemelajar bahasa asing karena jika intonasi tidak dituturkan secara tepat, hal itu akan berakibat pada kesalahpahaman (Penny, 1991). Begitu pula pemelajar Korea yang belajar bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini menginvestigasi bagaimana intonasi tuturan deklaratif dan interogatif bahasa Indonesia dituturkan oleh pemelajar Korea. Penelitian ini menggunakan subjek penelitian pemelajar BIPA dari Korea yang berada pada tingkat pemula, madya, dan tinggi. Data penelitian berupa tiga tuturan bahasa Indonesia yang terdiri atas dua kalimat tunggal dan satu kalimat majemuk dalam percakapan yang diperankan sebanyak tiga kali. Penelitian ini mengaplikasikan pendekatan IPO dengan tiga kegiatan utama: eksperimen produksi ujaran, analisis akustik ujaran, dan eksperimen uji persepsi ujaran. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa ciri akustik yang menandai ketiga tingkat pemelajar adalah kontur intonasinya. Tinggi nada tidak memiliki keterkaitan dengan tingkat pemelajar. Tinggi nada secara khusus hanya menandai kontras tuturan deklaratif dan interogatif. Ciri akustik tuturan tingkat pemula dan madya masih menunjukkan adanya kesamaan dengan pola intonasi bahasa Korea, sedangkan pola intonasi tuturan tingkat tinggi tidak sama dengan bahasa Korea maupun bahasa Indonesia. Hanya kontras tinggi nada tuturan dekalaratif dan interogatif tingkat tinggi yang cenderung sama dengan bahasa Indonesia. Meskipun demikian, semua tuturan dari semua tingkat diterima dengan baik oleh orang Indonesia.

 

 


Intonation is one of the aspects that need to be mastered by a foreign language learner because if intonation is not spoken correctly, it will result in misunderstanding (Penny, 1991). The idea is applied to Korean who learns Bahasa Indonesia. This study investigates how Korean learners make use of intonation to express declarative and interrogative utterances of Bahasa Indonesia. The subject of this study is native Koreans who study BIPA at the beginner, intermediate, and advance levels. The data of this study are three utterances in Bahasa Indonesia consisting of two single sentences and one compound sentence which then each subject needed to utter for three times. IPO approach is applied with three main activities: speech production experiment, speech acoustic analysis, and speech perception test experiment. This study showed that there is a particular relation between intonation contour and the learners level of comprehension. However, it failed to prove any relationships between pitch and the level of the learners. Regardless, the study found that pitch only marks the contrast of declarative and interrogative speech. The acoustic characteristics of beginner and intermediate speech levels still show similarities with the Korean intonation patterns, while the high-level speech intonation patterns are not the same as Korean and Indonesian. Only the high contrast of high-level declarative and interrogative speech tones tends to be the same as Indonesian. Nevertheless, all speeches from all levels were well received by Indonesians.
