"Dalam serial drama Berlin, berlin, saya meneliti jenis-jenis implikatur percakapan dan perwujudan ragam bahasa pria dan ragam bahasa wanita berdasarkan 4 episode. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan apa saja jenis implikatur percakapan dalam serial drama Berlin, berlin dan juga untuk mendeskripsikan ragam bahasa yang ada pada hubungan antar tokoh pria dan wanita dalam serial drama Berlin,berlin. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah metode kualitatif. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis implikatur percakapan dalam serial drama Berlin, berlin berdasarkan teori dari Grice dan juga teori ragam bahasa pria dan wanita menurut Opperman & Weber dan Robin Lakoff. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum menunjukkan bahwa terdapat jenis implikatur non-konvensional berdasarkan masing-masing episode dan wujud ragam bahasa pria berdasarkan tokoh pria yang terdapat dalam masing-masing episode yaitu tegas, jelas, mengandung nasehat dan mengandung pola intonasi pertanyaan. Berbeda dengan tokoh wanita, ragam bahasa yang digunakan lebih ekspresif, penuh semangat dan menggunakan ragam bahasa tersirat. Dengan demikian, perbedaan ragam bahasa antara wanita dan pria terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari karena terdapat banyak faktor seperti perbedaan jenis kelamin, sikap, kehidupan sosial dan juga dapat dipengaruhi oleh maksud pembicara.Berlin,berlin drama series, I researched the types of implicature and a variety languages between male and female based on 4 episodes. The purpose of this study is to describe what Berlin, berlin drama series and also to describe a variety male and female languages that existed in the relationship between men and women in Berlin, berlin drama series. This study used a qualitative method. It aims to determine the types of conversational implicature and variety languages between male and female based on the theory of Grice and the theory of languages according to Opperman & Weber and Robin Lakoff. As a result, this study found that there is a non-conventional type of Implicature based on each episode and the appearance of the variety male language is firmly, clearly and contain the intonation patterns of questions. On the other hand, the variety of female languages used more expressive, zestful, and implied. In general the differences of language between male and female occur because of many factors such as gender, attitudes, social life and also the meaning of speaker."

"[ABSTRAKTesis berupa kritik terjemahan audiovisual ini membandingkan kesepadananmakna kesantunan berbahasa dalam subtitle serial TV Sherlock, A Scandal inBelgravia versi VCD dan Internet. Jenis kesantunan berbahasa yang dianalisisterbatas pada politeness markers, play-downs dan committers. Penelitian inidilakukan dengan ancangan sosiopragmatik dan terjemahan fungsional. Temuandari penelitian yang telah dilakukan adalah (1) situasi komunikasi TSu berbedadengan TSa sehingga kesenjangan tidak dapat dihindari. Sementara itu, motifkomunikasi antara kedua penyusun subtitle juga berbeda. Penyusun subtitle versiVCD didasari motif komersial sedangkan versi Internet didasari motif hobi. (2)penyusun subtitle menggunakan berbagai strategi dan prosedur penerjemahanuntuk menghasilkan terjemahan yang sesuai dengan skopos penerjemahan,strategiskopos yang didominasi oleh strategi komunikatif merupakan strategi yang palingtepat digunakan dalam penerjemahan audiovisual, (3) struktur tuturan TSuberubah dalam TSa demi menyampaikan makna kesantunan yang antara TSu danTSa. (4) berdasarkan perhitungan keakuratan subtitle versi Internet adalah 99,02%dan versi internet adalah 96,91% dan persentase tuturan dengan tingkatketerbacaan tinggi versi Internet adalah 66,70% dan versi VCD adalah 39,70%.Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah kualitas subtitle serial TV Sherlock, episode AScandal in Belgravia versi internet lebih baik daripada versi VCD.

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini akan membandingkan dua karya sastra melalui kacamata alih wahana. Dua karya yang akan digunakan adalah komik Showcase 4 yang diterbitkan pada tahun 1956 dan serial TV The Flash yang mengudara sejak 2014. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan keunikan struktur yang ada pada masing-masing wahana guna untuk membongkar ideologi yang terkandung didalamnya. Pada tataran tekstual, didapati bahwa Showcase 4 mengandung ideologi dominasi ras mayoritas terhadap ras minoritas di Amerika, sedangkan pada The Flash mengandung ideologi kesetaraan semua ras yang ada di Amerika atau pluralsime. Namun, setelah dikaji lebih mendalam, dibalik gambaran kesetaraan yang ditawarkan The Flash, ternyata masih ada beberapa poin yang menunjukkan adanya dominasi kulit putih terhadap ras minoritas di Amerika. Strategi dominasi yang dilakukan adalah melalui hegemoni. Pada akhirnya, Serial TV yang tampak memiliki ambivalensi ideologis antara pluralisme dan upaya dominasi melalui hegemoni.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to compare two versions of American superhero story The Flash the TV version and the Comic Book version using Adaptation Studies where the theory will reveal that there are changes of ideology between the original comic book of The Flash published in 1956 and its TV series which has been aired since 2014. On a textual level, the researcher found that The Flash rsquo s comic book version Showcase 4 contains an ideological domination conducted by the majority race towards the minorities in the United States, whereas in The Flash TV series there is an ideology of equality of all races in America. However, after studying the TV series rsquo version more in depth, the researcher found that behind the equality ideology offeredin it, there are some points that indicate the presence of white domination against racial minorities in America. The strategy uses to obtain that domination is through hegemony. Ultimately, the researcher comes to the conclusion that although The Flash rsquo s TV series seemed to offer the concept of equality among all Americans, hegemony of white people still exist in it."

"Penelitian ini membahas mengenai representasi isu-isu sosial budaya dan spiritual masyarakat imigran muslim Arab di Amerika yang ditemukan dalam serial televisi Amerika Ramy. Tontonan serial televisi karya Ramy Youssef ini menarik untuk dikaji karena mengandung cerminan perjuangan dan dilema masyarakat Arab muslim sebagai minoritas di Amerika Serikat. Hasil penelitian ini adalah jenis representasi intensional paling banyak digunakan dalam serial TV ini karena sifatnya yang dapat menccerminkan intensi pribadi tiap tokoh. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah musim pertama dari serial televisi berbahasa Arab dan Inggris yang berjudul Ramy tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Adapun untuk menyampaikan makna-makna simbolis dari serial televisi Ramy penulis menggunakan teori representasi Stuart Hall. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menguraikan bagaimaana isu-isu identitas budaya dan spiritual survival masyarakat imigran Arab muslim direpresentasikan dalam adegan-adegan serial televisi tersebut.

This study discusses the representation of socio-cultural and spiritual issues of Arab Muslim immigrant communities in America which are found in the American television series Ramy. This television series by Ramy Youssef is interesting to study because it reflects the struggle and identity dilemma of the Muslim Arab community as a minority in the United States. The result of this study is that intentional representation type is the most widely used in this TV series because of its nature which can reflect the personal intentions of each character. The data source for this research is the first season of the American television series entitled Ramy in 2019 televised in both Arabic and English. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method. As for conveying the symbolic meanings of the television series Ramy, the writer uses Stuart Hall's representation theory. The purpose of this study is to describe the cultural and spiritual identity issues of Arab Muslim immigrant communities represented in the television series' scenes."

"Serial TV Crime Fiction merupakan salah satu produk audiovisual yang lekat dengan kehidupan masyarakat karena kisahnya yang diambil dari kejahatan yang terjadi di sekitar kita. Jurnal ini membahas serial TV Sherlock Holmes yang ditayangkan di saluran BBC seluruh dunia dengan menyentuh isu gender yaitu peran dan konstruksi gender. Tokoh wanita yang digambarkan berbeda dengan stereotipe gender yang berlaku di masyarakat tradisonal membuat peneliti ingin menggali lebih dalam bagaimana dualisme peran feminin-maskulin bekerja didalam film melalui kedua tokoh wanitanya. Selain itu, jurnal ini juga menjawab bagaimana kedua tokoh wanita diperlakukan ketika tidak mengikuti aturan yang berlaku di masyarakat tradisional. Peneliti menggunakan Item ndash; item yang terdapat dalam Alat Ukur Bem Sex Role Inventory untuk mendukung peneliti dalam melakukan pembahasan. Pada akhirnya serial TV ini membuka kesempatan merekonstruksi definisi dan peran gender wanita yang selama ini telah terinternalisasi di dalam kehidupan masyarakat.

This journal analyzes the Sherlock Holmes TV serial that has been broadcast in BBC Worldwide channel by touching its gender issuses such as roles and gender construction. The different depicting ways of the women characters from those prevailing in the society drives the writer to dig deeper how these feminine masculine dualism role works in this film through both of the women characters. Morevoer, this journal is also answers how both of the women characters were treated when they didn't follow the prevailing rules. Writer use the items in Bem Sex Role Inventory Measurment Instrument to supports writer expose the discussion. In the end this TV serial open the chance to reconstruct the definition of women gender role that has been internalized in our society."
