"Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) merupakan jenis eksperimentasi radikal dari organisasi (tata kelola) algoritmik yang memanfaatkan teknologi smart contract dan blockchain untuk mengatur tindakan kolektif dan diri sendiri. Namun, interaksi yang rumit antara agensi manusia dan kemajuan teknologi pada DAO, menimbulkan kebingungan mendalam yang mempertahankan kekosongan struktur kekuasaan dan perselisihan politik—mendorong penulis untuk memeriksa secara menyeluruh tentang kekuasaan pada DAO. Berdasarkan premis tersebut, tulisan ini berupaya memaknai aspek politis pengorganisasian mandiri secara interpretatif melalui sibernetika, mengeksplorasi cara-cara di mana kekuasaan dilaksanakan dan dibentuk dalam DAO melalui konstruksi gagasan kekuasaan Michel Foucault, serta bagaimana struktur-struktur ini kemudian dapat dianggap sebagai mesin politik melalui politik prefiguratif.

A Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) represents a fundamentally radical experimentation within the realm of algorithmic governance, harnessing the capabilities of smart contract and blockchain technologies to steer collective and autonomous actions. The complex interplay between human agency and technological progress in DAOs, however, poses profound quandaries pertaining to maintains disengagement from power structures and politics — prompts the author to thoroughly examine power in the DAOs. Premised on this, the present discourse aims to interpretatively decipher the political facets of self-organization through a cybernetic perspective, scrutinizing the means by which power is exercised and configured within DAOs through the theoretical framework of Michel Foucault’s power dynamics. Furthermore, it explores how these structures subsequently evolve into political machines through the lens of prefigurative politics."

"ABSTRAKKarya ilmiah ini menganalisa karya-karya seni Nam June Paik yang mencakup berbagai instalasi, patung,pertunjukan, dan video. Diinformasikan oleh gagasan `posthuman sibernetis` seperti yang diusulkan oleh N.Katherine Hayles dalam How We Became Posthuman, sebuah konsep yang dirinya dibangun di atas teorisibernetika Norbert Wiener, karya tersebut mencoba untuk menghubungkan teori-teori posthumanis tentangdematerialisasi, rematerialisasi, perwujudan, dan virtualitas dari perspektif sibernetika ke `teknologi manusiawi`Nam June Paik sebagai karya seni. ABSTRACTThis paper examines the installations, sculptures, performances, and videos that make up Nam June Paik`s(1932-2006) body of work. Informed by notions of the `cybernetic posthuman` as proposed by N. KatherineHayles in How We Became Posthuman, a concept which in turn is built upon Norbert Wiener`s cybernetictheory, it attempts to relate posthumanist theories of dematerialisation, rematerialisation, embodiment, andvirtuality from a cybernetic perspective to Nam June Paik`s `humanised technology` as art. It then discussesPaik`s visual and conceptual approach and his philosophy towards technology-particularly the relationshipbetween technology and body, and the intersection of technology and culture-a utopian view that I take inreconsidering our own relationship with technology in today`s digital media context, in hopes of offering a moreoptimistic attitude towards it."
