Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh alih fungsi lahan terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat desa di Provinsi Jawa Barat tahun 2011. Variabel alih fungsi lahan yang diteliti adalah persentase alih fungsi lahan pertanian menjadi lahan nonpertanian dengan variabel kontrol berupa jumlah keluarga pengguna listrik, sumber penghasilan utama, jumlah tenaga kesehatan, pembangunan/perbaikan infrastruktur, tingkat melek huruf, usia, luas lantai, kondisi rumah, dan dinding terluas. Data bersumber dari Potensi Desa Jawa Barat dan Survey Sosial dan Ekonomi Nasional 2011 kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode regresi model Ordinary Least Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara alih fungsi lahan terhadap salah satu indikator kesejahteraan.

This research analyzed the influence of land conversion on the rural welfare in the Province of West Java in 2011. Pencentage of land conversion in 2011 were used as a land conversion variable while number of family electricity users, main source of income, number of health workers, development/improvement of infrastructure, ability to read and write, age, floor area, condition of houses, and type of the widest wall were used as control variables. Data source resulted from Village Potential Census and Social Economics National Survey in 2011 which are analyzed using Ordinary Least Square regression. Result of this study indicated that there is a significant influence between land conversion and one of the welfare indicators.
