Abstrak :
In multi-storey steel frame structure, the requirements of lateral load resistance are very critical in the design. Shear wall, core wall and bracing system are commonly applied to resist the lateral loads. However for some case, due to the architechtural requirements, the design of unbraced frame which utilized only the stiffness of connections, columns and beams could not be avoided. As loads in unbraced frames are to be resisted by bending action of the frames's members without the need of a bracing system, the most common design approach is to use rigid joints. The objective of this paper is to compare the design of unbraced frames bending on major axis with rigid connections using S275 and S355. The frames were designed to satisfy the ultimate limit state and service limit state based on the BS 5950-1:2000. The limit of the sway-deflection is ht/300 for rigid connections. The analysis has shown better construction design for continuous with the total steel weight saving for frame design for frame design with steel S355 was up to 17% less than the frame design using steel S275.

ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to determine sway characteristics of a supported leg during a lateral stepping over obstacle task with different obstacle height and movement patterns, using a small triaxial accelerometer. We examined 20 healthy young adults to assess their trochanter malleolar distance traveled during a lateral stepping over obstacle task with obstacle heights of 30%, 50%, and 70%. The lateral stepping over tasks revealed flexion and extension patterns. We directed the subjects to grasp a forward handrail, perform the lateral step, and subsequently step over to the side. We calculated synthetic acceleration (SA) from acceleration data measured using two small triaxial accelerometers and two web cameras. We calculated supporting leg sway; RMS phases of X-, Y-, and Z-axes; and SA data. The subjects showed increased RMS of Y-axis and SA according to the obstacle height for the flexion pattern; however, they did not show change in RMS of Y-axis and SA according to the obstacle height for the extension pattern. During lateral stepping over, the RMS of Y-axis and SA for the flexion pattern were higher than for the extension pattern. The findings for the flexion pattern suggest that the center of gravity shifts higher according to increased obstacle height; consequently, the supporting leg becomes unstable. The findings for the extension pattern suggest that the "screw-home" rotation effect of the supporting leg during movement can support lateral stepping over better than the flexion pattern.

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) berbasis Sway. Sway adalah media presentasi online. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa e Learning dalam bentuk presentasi online dengan menggunakan aplikasi Sway di SMPN 3 Probolinggo pada materi teoretik untuk mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mengacu pada model penelitian dan pengembangan Deck and Lou Carey yang meliputi sepuluh tahapan, yaitu (1) assessing needs to identify goal; (2) conducting instructional analysis; (3) identyfing entry behavior characteristic; (4) writing performance objecctives; (5) developing and selecting instruction; (6) developing instructional strategy; (7) developing and selecting instruction; (8) designing and conducting formative evaluation; (9) revising instruction, dan (10) designing and conducting summative evaluation. Kelayakan media pembelajaran hasil pengembangan mengacu pada hasil penilaian ahli, praktisi lapangan, dan respons peserta didik sebagai subjek uji coba. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Sway yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi standar aspek kelayakan bahan ajar.

Perkembangan teknologi bidang kelautan semakin pesat seiring dengan kebutuhan zaman. Aktivitas eksploitasi sektor migas sudah merambah pada wilayah Deep Water sampai Ultra Deep Water. Namun pada realitasnya Indonesia belum mampu berperan aktif dalam pengembangan teknologi Mobile Offshore Platform Unit yang biasa digunakan untuk eksploitasi migas pada wilayah diatas. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jenis anjungan yang digunakan pada eksploitasi migas lepas pantai masih banyak menggunakan struktur fixed platform dan lokasi eksploitasi masih terbatas pada wilayah perairan dangkal. Padahal Indonesia memiliki luas wilayah laut yang cukup besar, penggarapan cadangan migas pada wilayah perairan laut dalam harus mulai dilakukan, seperti di perairan Laut Arafura blok Masela yang diprediksi memiliki potensi gas alam hingga 20 tcf (trilion cubic feet) dan cadangan minyak bumi sebesar 24,36 mmstb (million stock tank barrels). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan studi kasus perancangan sebuah anjungan semi-submersible yang berfungsi sebagai Production Platform Unit yang digunakan pada eksploitasi migas di blok Masela, Laut Arafura. Rancangan tersebut dilengkapi dengan sistem pemosisian dinamik (dynamic positioning system) yang diuji pada skala model. Hasil dari eksperimen pada model uji tersebut digunakan untuk mengetahui tingkat akurasi dari penerapan sistem kontrol posisi Inertial Measurement Unit dan sensor ultrasonik terhadap beban lingkungan.
Technology development in marine sector has a rapid development in line with the needs of the era. The exploitation activity of oil and gas sector has been expanded to the deep sea area until ultra deep sea area. Whereas in reality, Indonesia is unable to contribute actively in the technology development of Mobile Offshore Platform Unit which used for oil and gas exploitation in those area. It can be seen on the fact that the exploitation of offshore oil and gas still use fixed structure and the location of platform exploitation still limited to the shallow water areas. While Indonesia has a large sea area, the cultivation of oil and gas reserves in the sea area should begin to planned carefully, as in the Arafura Sea Masela block which was predicted have potential of natural gas reach out 20 tcf (trilion cubic feet), the petroleum reserves by 24, 36 MMSTB (million stock tank barrels). In this study, there is a study case of semi-submersible rig design that serves as a Production Platform unit used in oil and gas exploitation in the Masela Block, the Arafura Sea. The design is completed with a dynamic positioning system (DPS) which has been tested at scale models. Results of experiments on the test model is used to determine the accuracy of the application of a simple position control system that is using The Measurement Inertial Unit and ultrasonic sensors on the environment resistance.
