"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan proses konstruksi atas realitas sosial pada pendidikan teknologi yang dialami oleh guru bidang pendidikan teknologi. Konstruksi terkait pendidikan tidak akan terlepas dari aspek komunikasi pendidikan yang melingkupi peranan guru dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan dan mengahadapi hambatan serta menjawab tantangan dunia kerja melalui Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan paradigma konstruktivis dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa proses konstruksi terjadi secara dialektis melalui eksternalisasi, objektivasi dan internalisasi. Komunikasi dan interaksi yang terjadi antara guru dan lingkungannya membentuk pemahaman tentang kondisi yang dihadapi serta menjadi perwujudan dari konstruksi yang terbentuk. Eksternalisasi yang terjadi berupa proses interaksi dan pencarian informasi. Objektivasi ditunjukkan saat guru menentukan tindakan sebagai bentuk adaptasi. Internalisasi terjadi melalui sosialisasi sekunder yang membentuk nilai pemaknaan terkait pendidikan teknologi kemampuan siswa daerah dan kesenjangan teknologi yang ada. Konstruksi yang terjadi mengarah pada adaptasi dari kondisi yang ada pada pendidikan teknologi di daerah dengan tuntutan pekerjaan dan perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi. Adaptasi yang dilakukan antara lain penyesuaian metode belajar dengan kondisi yang ada serta bentuk tindakan guru dalam menjawab tantangan dunia kerja.

This research aims to discover the construction process of social reality in technology education experienced by teachers in the field of technology education. Construction related to education cannot be separated from the communication aspect of education which covers the role of teachers in implementing education and facing obstacles and responding to challenges in the world of work through Vocational High Schools (SMK). This research uses a qualitative approach and a constructivist paradigm with a case study method. The research found that the construction process occurred dialectically through externalization, objectivation and internalization. Communication and interaction between teachers and their environment forms an understanding of the conditions faced and becomes an embodiment of the construction that is formed. Externalization that occurs is in the form of a process of interaction and information seeking. Objectivation is shown when the teacher determines action as a form of adaptation. Internalization occurs through secondary socialization which forms meaning values related to technology education and the abilities of regional students. The construction that occurs leads to adaptation of existing conditions in technological education in the region to the demands of work and technological developments that occur. The adaptations made include adjusting learning methods according to existing conditions and the forms of teacher action in responding to the challenges of the world of work."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya inverted-U relationship kompetisi pada inovasi perbankan Indonesia periode 2001-2011. Konsep hubungan ini dilandasi dari adanya Schumpterian effect dan escape competition effect. Parameter inovasi yang diukur tidak spesifik pada satu produk inovasi melainkan secara keseluruhan dengan menggunakan konsep technology gap ratio. Perhitungan ini mengukur efisiensi teknis dari technology set yang telah digunakan perusahaan dengan potensi ketersediaan teknologi yang ada. Untuk perhitungan kemampuan berkompetisi dihitung dengan price cost margin pada level perusahaan. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai technology gap ratio dan penurunan tingkat kompetisi yang harus dihadapi pasca Arsitektur Perbankan Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membuktikan adanya inverted-U relationship kemampuan berkompetisi pada inovasi perbankan Indonesia.

The purpose of this study is to examine inverted-U relationship between competition and innovation of Indonesia banking industry in 2001-2011 timeframe. This concept is based on Schumpterian effect and Escape competition effect. The measurement of innovation parameters in this study uses the concept of technology gap ratio to understand overall effects of innovation on efficiency rather than the effect of individual innovation product. From the computation, the technical efficiency of currently deployed technological set in a company compared to the currently available technology potential set given their combination of outputs and input prices. The degree of competition is estimated on firm-specific level. In addition, this study also takes account of the effects of Indonesian Banking Architecture. The study found out that there is increasing value of technology gap ratio and decreasing of degree of competition after the implementation of Indonesia Banking Architecture. The inverted-U relationship between competition and innovation on banking in Indonesia has been proven by this study."
