"Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui visibilitas metode line profile sebagai metode kuantisasi citra digital dalam evaluasi diagnosis pemeriksaan abdomen pada pasien pediatrik. Kuantisasi citra dilakukan pada anatomi preperitoneal fat kanan-kiri 17 citra, lumen rongga usus besar 33 citra, dinding usus halus 33 citra, dan pelvis minor 22 citra . Sampel yang digunakan berupa citra pemeriksaan abdomen pasien pediatrik umur 0-1 tahun pada proyeksi AP Anterior-Posterior dengan diagnosis normal dan abnormal untuk masing-masing anatomi yang dievaluasi. Kuantisasi citra berupa kurva plot line profile didapatkan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak ImageJ. Verifikasi metode line profile dilakukan dengan membandingkan grafik plot line profile dengan hasil diagnosis dokter pada masing-masing citra dan anatomi yang dievaluasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode line profile dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi anatomi preperitoneal fat, lumen rongga usus besar, dan dinding usus halus dengan nilai kecocokan dengan diagnosis berturut-turut 70,59, 78,78 dan 100 . Penelitian lanjutan dengan modifikasi metode diperlukan untuk menganalisis probabilitas aplikasi metode line profile dalam evaluasi citra pemeriksaan abdomen.
The study was aimed to observe the feasibility of line profile method in digital image analyses for the evaluation of abdominal anatomy on pediatric patients. Image quantization and analyses were performed on the given anatomical interests of right left preperitoneal fat 17 images, colon lumen 33 images, small intestine wall 33 images, and pelvis minor 22 images . Samples used were abdominal AP antero posterior projections on pediatric patients ranging from 0 to 1 year old, each being interpreted as normal or abnormal by radiologists. Feasibility verification was performed by comparing line profile plot results obtained using ImageJ with radiologist interpretation on each images and anatomical interests. Result shown that line profile method is applicable for preperitoneal fat, colon lumen and small intestine wall evaluation, being of 70.59, 78.78, and 100 match, respectively, to radiologists rsquo interpretations. Further study is essential to modify the method and allow subsequent studies on its potential clinical application."

"Proses adaptasi teks dongeng menjadi film semakin banyak dilakukan oleh produser film Hollywood. Salah satunya ialah film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) produksi Paramount Pictures yang diadaptasi dari dongeng Grimm bersaudara. Penelitian ini membahas imaji Hollywood yang direpresentasikan dalam film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013). Dengan metode kualitatif berupa deskriptif analisis, penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana imaji Hollywood dikemas dalam film. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya imaji-imaji baru yang berbeda dengan versi aslinya disebabkan karena adanya pengembangan cerita serta perubahan motif yang dilakukan oleh tim produksi. Imaji Hollywood dalam film ini digambarkan melalui penokohan, alur dan cerita, dialog antar tokoh serta ekspresi yang dikemas berbeda dari versi dongeng Grimm. Hal ini berkaitan dengan tujuan Hollywood sebagai industri global yang ingin menciptakan suatu hiburan massa yang menjangkau pasar internasional.
The adaptation of fairy-tale texts into films is increasingly being carried out by Hollywood film producers. The film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013) is produced by Paramount Pictures which was adapted from the fairy tale of the Brothers Grimm Hansel und Gretel. This study discusses Hollywood images represented in the film Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (2013). With qualitative methods in the form of descriptive analysis, this study focuses on how Hollywood images are packaged in films. The results of the study show new images that are different from the original version. The result is due to the development of stories and changes in motives carried out by the production team. Hollywood images in this film are portrayed through characterizations, lines and stories, dialogues between characters and expressions that are packaged differently from the fairytale version of Grimm. The result also show how Hollywood as a global industry create a mass entertainment that reaches international markets."

"World Health Organisation (WHO) has predicted 300 million peoples will suffer of diabetic in 2025. Long-term diabetics can lead to diabetic retinopathy that can cause blindness in developing countries. One of the abnormalities of diabetic retinopathy is exudate. Exudates are classified into two categories, i.e. hard and soft exudates. This paper proposes feature extraction based on texture for distinguishing hard, soft and non-exudates. The green channel of the original images is enhanced by CLAHE and followed by median filtering and thresholding in red channel to detect and remove the optic disc. The enhanced image is segmented based on clustering to obtain the region of interest of exudates. Feature extraction based on texture is conducted by using GLCM and lacunarity. Results show that classification based on NaïveBayes algorithm achieves accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of 92.13%, 96% and 87.18%, respectively."
